"As in other reviews - sometimes the little screwy things come out and you have to re-drill holes to match OTHER existing screws.
Painted my old golf cart to look like John Deere. Seats fit FINE. Like I said - only problem was having to re-site some of the bolts due to screw bases falling out.
After several months' use the two seats I bought are holding up well. (- - and I have a big rear-end)"

High Back seat,
August 11, 2008
By rruussfrom Troy
"The seat was a big improvement to the mower. Lawn mowing can last for 6 hours around here and the extra cushion makes a difference. The extra high back made the biggest difference. The full support of the back is a very nice feature."

poor substitute,

"This seat is not like the original as promised. There is no place for the emergency seat switch and it does not fit a JD 208 Model. The screw holes are so cheap that two have already broken off inside the seat."

New Backhoe seat,
April 14, 2008
By AFChieffrom Arkansas Ozarks
"We have a Kabota tractor with a backhoe attachment. The original backhoe seat needed to be replaced so we ordered the Deluxe Highback Seat from Northern as a replacement. It came with enough different mounting holes already drilled and tapped that we had no problem matching the original mounting bracket of the Kabota. In less than 15 minutes we had a better than new seat. This one is much more comfortable that the original and appears to be of much better quality so we don't mind that bright yellow seat on our orange tractor."

"over the winter painting my John Deere 210 and needed to get a new seat. i wasnt expecting the plastic frame. The seat is very light and it will not rust. i had a bit of a proplem putting it on because the guy that had it before me put a different one one so it didnt have the origanal seat mechinism. I found out a way to mount it and it works great. i like the thinkness of the coushin. This is great price for a great seat!"

Northern Equipment Deluxe Highback seat,,
January 14, 2008
By Cobrafrom Augusta, MO
"I use a Craftsman 23hp Garden tractor. The original seat was getting pretty ragged. I replaced it with a Northern Equipment Deluxe Highback seat,-yellow. It fit onto the holes and bolted down just like the description said it would. It feels good to ride on; Looks great; and I even think that the tractor runs better."
