"This heater looks and works just like a quartz heater. A glass tube that glows and radiates heat. I am being warmed by it in my office as I write this. Using just 400 watts on the low setting and about three feet away it feels like sunshine. It is a radiant heater, so it heats objects like me and my chair and my arthritic hands as if I were sitting in the sun. It does not heat rooms. The tower design allows many options for placement. I have ordered a second one"

"Like the smaller heater I also got, it does exactly what I wanted it to do. It provides silent radiant heat to a fairly small area. It also oscillates silently if desired, and provides two levels, 400 and 800W. The tower design made me a little nervous, since it is somewhat top-heavy, but it has a cut-off switch if it tips and I don't leave it on when I'm not with it. There is no reason to leave it on when you're not there, anyway, because radiant heat doesn't heat the room, it heats you, no wasted energy."

"I purchased this item for my son and his family that live in a mobile home in Idaho State. Their home is not very well insulated and has baseboard heating which is not efficient for warmth in the winter. I sent this to them for christmas and when my son called me he was so excited of the extent the heat could be felt as well as the cat could snuggle up close to it. It was safe for the children and he said, Oh Mom did you know that it even ocillates. It is the greatest gift you could have ever given. I am so grateful for the usefulness of this product to keep my family warm this winter."

"It didn't heat very well then after about a month of use it quit heating. The oscillating still works. I called to report the problem and had a very nice person help. She sent a mailing label to attach to box so we didn't have to pay for shipping. Also, when I asked her if you have had problems with this heater she said no. So once we receive the new heater maybe we will have a better review."

"Very impressed with the amount of heat this puts out. Also it is very quiet when oscillating. I have a dish heater too but would rather another tower."
