Drolet Freestanding Heat Shield,

"I recently installed a new coal fired stove in my home and was concerned about radiant heat exposure to adjacent walls. The stove was installed in accordance to the manufacturers spec.'s however the drywall construction still got fairly warm. I wasn't particularly impressed by the fake brick type of heat shields available. When I saw the freestanding unit in my Northern catalog, I said "this is it!" Relatively inexpensive, easy to move and clean, looks like part of the stove...and does a great job of reflecting heat. No more hot walls, all of the heat is out in front of the stove. Great product."
