fuel caddy,
August 19, 2008

"The 30 gal steel fuel caddy I purchased 2 months ago is outstanding. It was very easy to put together, and it does a top-notch job. It is steel, so no worries about cracks, or durability. The pump (12 gals per min) is more than enough to complete the job in a timely manner. It also has an added safety item. It comes with a 12 ft grounding wire to eliminate sparks. I think it is well worth every dime it cost. It should last a lifetime, that is one reason I bought this one. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a mobile fuel storage system."

Steel Gas Caddy,
August 18, 2008

"I have owned this product for 5 months and use it to refuel my two tractors. Prior to owning it, I would make runs to the gas station with 2or 3, five gallon plastic gas containers. Once back at the farm, it was difficult to climb on the tractors and hold the 5 gallon containers up in order to fill the tanks. The gas caddy has made life much easier. It is easily portable and fills the tanks quickly. I also like the fact that it has a gas gauge on top for easy reading. The fact that it is portable has helped me on a few occassions when I needed to get the caddy to where the tractor was. It is tougher to handle and move over uneven ground when the caddy is close to full, but it can be done with some effort. On the down side (and there isn't much), it is sometimes difficult to get the pump primed especially if the fuel level in the tank is low. I will usually leave a "slug" of gas in the line. When I need to pump, I hold the hose up and drain the small amount of fuel in the line back into the pump. This does the trick and I am pumping fuel quickly. The other minor issue is the manufacturer warns not to transport the gas caddy in a pickup or on a trailer. This would be the ideal way to refill the caddy at the gas station. I am pretty sure this is just a legal disclaimer but if you take it seriously, it makes it a bit less convenient to own because you are back to running 5 gallon cans back and forth to the gas station. Overall, I like it and would recommend it to anyone who needs to refuel multiple farm vehicles."

30Gal Gas Cady,
August 11, 2008
By morganhrs

"This was well worth the money. I use to have 8 or 9 5gal gas cans I had to lift each time to fill my equipment. Now I just attach the ground clip, put the hoe in and crank. So simple and easy my wife uses it and I don't have to do it for her."

"Excellent product! Very useful and portable, I use it in my shop, for my tractor, and many other needs. I am using it for diesel, but will soon purchase another for gasoline. I would recommend this product to all who work in garages, shops, farm, mechanical, for home, commercial and industrial uses."

GASOLINE CADDY,

By DougJ

"This, as all the things I have ordered from NORTHERN TOOL & EQUIPMENT, is exactly as advertised. The merchandise arrived in good order. Instructions were easy to follow. One screw was missing, but I haven't even reported that minor problem. Everything works fine as I expect it will for years to come."

Steel Gas Caddy,
April 15, 2008
By GeneG

"With several ATV's and 2 riding mowers, I found myself constantly toting the 5 gal. gas can to the convience store to fill it up. The Steel Gas Caddy has changed all that. At first, I was a little concerned about being able to handle a full load in the Gas Caddy. At 5'6" and 160 lbs, I am not a big guy. I found that it is designed so that even with a full load of 30 gallons, it is completely managable by one person (especially if you use a ramp to load and unload). The Gas Caddy is so easy to use, even my wife and teenage daughter can fill the ATV's and mowers without having to worry about lifting a 5 gal. gas can. I bought one and liked it so much, I bought a second one for diesel for the tractor!"

Gas Caddy,

"Our business is a towing, storage, and recycling facility. We use this caddy everyday since we received it 7 months ago. We are very pleased with the mobllity fom pavement to dirt. We've had one problem. The float on the fuel level leaked but was quickly replaced. We are ready to purchase another gas caddy and a diesel caddy soon. Great product and great service from Northern Tool."

GREAT PRODUCT,

"I PURCHASED THIS GAS CADDY, BECAUSE I WAS TIRED OF TAKING SEVERAL GAS CANS TO THE STATION TO FILL UP. IT WAS VERY EASY TO USE AND SAVES SO MUCH TIME. IT IS ALSO EASIER TO FILL SMALL GAS CANS FOR MIXED FUEL. WE USE THIS AT OUR COMPANY, BUT I AM GOING TO GET ONE FOR THE LAKE HOUSE AND ALSO THE FARM."
