Northern Industrial Deep Well Impact Sockets 1/2In. Drive, 29-Pc. SAE & Metric Set
Impact sockets are forged from high-quality chrome molybdenum alloy steel for durability and superior strength. Patented sidewall drive sockets apply force to the walls of the fastener instead of the points, resulting in longer fastener life. Laser-etched, hi-visibility markings allow for easy readability. Meets or exceeds ANSI and government torque performance specifications.

"This is a great set of impact sockets. They are well built and although I've only used two of them so far, they seem to be all I had hoped for."

I should have bought these years ago!,

"High quality set of deep impact sockets. They fit well, without slop and have held up to several nuts the impact wrench wouldn't budge. Also, the finish withstands drops on the concrete and the case is useful and stays shut while being lobbed into the truck box."

"very good starter set of impact sockets. but thats about it.. for tech work you still need a good set of 3/8" sockets and shallow 1/2 sockets which this set does not include. however these are built very well for the price. i've definatly have had them on fastners that would not move and my impact gun isn't weak. the sockets have held up and dont even appear worn."

Socket To Me!,
October 15, 2007
By SecondsOutfrom Brielle, New Jersey, Jersey Shore Area
"I bought this deep impact socket set to go with my Dewalt DW059K-2 18Volt, 1/2in., cordless, heavy-duty high torque impact wrench... "Great Combo"... I'm in the construction business on the Jersey Shore... I mainly bought this socket kit to use on building decks, for driving all different “big” sized lag bolts home... Overkill maybe? But I wanted a good quality set… I’ve also used them on some other projects for removing old rusted nuts off Lawn Mowers and an Electric Golf Cart and they came right off no problem… I also did a little research before buying a deep impact socket set online… and I learned to look for forged or heated socket sets because this makes them harder, stronger and they last longer I was told… this set was also best for the price beating other similar sets by 20 to 30 dollars an more… while searching through Google I kept coming back to this set here… these sockets have worked great for me so far… I have no complaints… I highly recommend them… I say go for it… good luck all!"

Strong deep impact sockets,
July 9, 2007
By DH6033from Altoona, Iowa
"I normally use about 4 of the 29 deep impact sockets every few days. They have loosen every rusty nut which I have needed to remove. They show no wear and have not broken or chipped. I am very pleased with the durability. I like the plastic case which makes it fast and easy to pick out the right size socket with just a glance at the case. The price at Northern Tool was the same or a little less than the prices at four other locations where I shopped for similar sockets."

Good kit for the average mechanic,
July 9, 2007
By Ekimfrom New hampshire
"This is a good set of impact sockets. They are strong and are easily attached and removed from my wrenches. The hard case is also convenient. It keeps them sorted and always at hand. No more searching for the right size in a jumbled box."
