"This is my first Backpack Blower. Other than a bad fuel cap, (It was quickly replaced by the company), it performs well. It is perfect for the Homeowner."

Ryobi backpack blower,
August 11, 2008
By hayruner

"Blower is very light weight and good value for the money. It is a little short in overall wind power when using for heavy jobs. More then adequate for most household projects. The flexable discharge hose is frustrating as it does not have a well designed fastening system and tends to come apart when using and or getting the pack situated on your back. A spot of glue did the trick to keep it together. Starts very easly and runs well."

back pack blower,

By KED1

"I bought one of these last year because I have a large yard, and dragging around an extention cord for an hour was no fun. The ZRO8570 worked as promised. Easy to put on ,light, powerfull, a little loud, but I was used to a Toro electric. Over all I would say the Ryobi cut more than a half hour off my clean up time ."

Good Value,
April 15, 2008
By mrgray

"Overall, I found this blower to be a good value for a gasoline-powered backpack style blower. It was clear that my unit was reconditioned from some of the scuffs/marks on the unit, but that was purely aesthetic and not unexpected. The main problem with this blower is the way the tubes connect together...the plastic is too flexy and they don't really lock well. This can be corrected with duct tape, but it looks a little bit rigged up. It does start easily, blows well, and I haven't noticed it being too hot."

Ryobi blower,

By BenC

"I have used this product for about a year and a half. I recently bought another one for my son. It is easy to use, lightweight and reliable. The price is very good. The fact that it is refurbished tells me that it has been thoroughly checked and less expensive than a new one. I have never owned another backpack blower to compare it to. It is powerfull enough for normal yardwork."

Great Blower Ryobi Backpack Blower Model# ZR08570,
January 15, 2008
By homec

"I bought this blower for a Christmas gift for family member, and was amazed at the great performance and how well built it was. I have other Ryobi products and this is on the higher end of their product line. It will blow wet leaves and is easy to start. You can't beat this price, you would pay twice as much or more same power and quality. I buy a lot of reconditioned products on the higher end, and I think this is one of the better buys I have found."

Does the job,
January 15, 2008

"The blower arrived a little dirtier than I thought it should but it is a refurbished model and the price was right. The shoulder straps and waist belt were not attached and no assembly instructions were included but after some deductive reasoning I was able to get it together rather easily. The cable straps that came with it were dry rotted and were worthless but I just used my own to secure the throttle cable. The hose sections don't really lock in very well and are prone to come apart if not secured with something like duct tape. The blower is light weight, comfortable, and does a fine job for a 25cc engine. I use it twice a week and it always starts right up and hasn't given me any trouble yet. The price was right and the product works thats all I ask for."

RYOBI BACKPACK BLOWER,
January 14, 2008
By unpleased

"WE USE THIS IN THE CHICKEN HOUSES TO BLOW OFF THE TOP OF THE BROOD STOVES. IT WORKS REALLY GOOD. THE ONLY THING IS THE PIPE KEEPS COMING APART WHILE YOUR USING IT AND ITS HARD TO PUT BACK TOGETHER WITHOUT TAKING THE BLOWER OFF YOUR BACK FIRST."
