"I really like this tool! After many years of inferior wire stripping pliers it is a pleasure to finally have a quality tool that gets the job done. You can't beat Vice Grip when it comes to long lasting well manufactured tools. I did find that it would not strip the leads on an oxygen sensor (shielded cable) perhaps there is another tool for that.Overall I can't imagine how I survived without it.Since this item was not stocked at my local Northern Tool location I had to mail order :( The price is reasonable enough that I will purchase an extra "just in case"."

"I love the vicegrip products I have used in the past and that is why I purchased this product. I am not at all happy with it. It only works about one in seven trys.. the clamping and cuting mech. does not seem to put enough pressure on the wire I was cutting #12 I have to reach up with my other hand and press down on the jaws to get it to strip the wire... I thought it was a one hand operation."
