Portable Kerosene Heater,
January 3, 2007
By Kingearnhardt

"Great heater! I purchased this heater for my shop. My shop measures 40x40x16. I filled this unit with diesel and with an outside temperature of 34 degrees I was shedding my jacket and walking around in short sleeves within an hour, at which time I turned the heater off. I would recommend this heater to anyone looking for a great source of heat with a compact design. This heater is made for multi-fuel usage which is great for fuel availability."

"It worked great even without walls. I used it for pre-wiring our new house to keep us warm.
Now my friend uses it in his shop 20x20x50 and it warms it up great."

"Like the product except can't get the power to increase on side panel. Owners manual is very skimpy which is why I'm on this site looking for one but no dice. Overall, heater did a good job thawing pipes for 2 homes last night."

Mr. Heater Portable Kerosene Heater 75,000 BTU,
January 24, 2008

"I ordered the heater for work in my garage. The first order got screwed up on UPS's end, it never arrived. I called Northern and they had one shipped out immediately- Thanks for that. The heater performs flawlessly, I have a 26'x26' garage, and I used it on some days where the temp was in the low 20's. It runs fairly quiet, you can converse with someone without shouting as when running some of the larger units. It throws plenty of heat, making the working environment comfortable. The fuel gauge is a nice feature, although care is needed to avoid overfill as I did, this results in some seepage from the vented cap. I'm in the process now of making a wheeled base for it to improve mobility. Overall, it's a great product, I'd recommend it for anyone who needs to heat a relatively large space. The fumes aren't too bad for a kero heater either."

Heater Operation and Ease of Use,
January 14, 2008
By wolfman45

"I like the way the heater operates. The only problem is that it needs wheels to make moving it around easier. With a full load of fuel it weighs over 50 lbs.and it is hard to move. Other than this it is a great heater."
