"Hi, This one of the most convenient spreaders I have ever used.I have a small farm and don't need a 3 point hitch spreader.For small plots its easy to seed and fertilizer without using another spreader.I have had good results because it spreads evenly and quickly.Its a good item to for deer plots."

"I have one of these spreaders that I am finally replacing with the same model after 30 years of continuous use because the bag and the gears are finally wearing out. Only repair in all that time was to replace the plastic impeller which broke when the spreader fell 8 feet to a concrete floor.
This simple machine makes quick work of seeding and fertilizing large areas, and is especially good when the ground is rough or very muddy. I can put down fertilizer on a half acre of lawn in 15 minutes without missing or burning any of it. Because you carry it rather than roll it on the ground it's excellent for fertilizing ground covers like vinca minor and large garden plots.
All you need to do to make it last 30 years is to rinse it well after every use and hang it up so the canvas bag can dry completely. An occasional drop of oil on the moving parts is a nice touch."
