NeverPump,
June 9, 2008
By star7from Sierra County, CA
"Filter in wide mouth keeps out misc. gunk in the water (my water source is a creek) or the material you spray. The various tips provide good coverage. The spray handle is easy to use. I'm a small female, and had not planned to carry it on my back, so the fully filled weight to move it around is what I expected - I may mount it on a wheeled cart. So nice not to have to PUMP it! One note: when first charging the red light did not turn green after the recommended time (panic) - until I unplugged the charger! Holds charge well. I recommend it and give it five stars because I expected the weight - about 15 lbs., without liquid."

Hudson Back-Pack Sprayer,
June 2, 2008
By RJS517from Long Island, New York
"Did not work brand new out of the box after charging batteriy. Troubleshooting instructions said to open up unit and check to see if wire fell off power switch. Sure enouugh that was the problem. Connected wire and it works real well. Nice spray, using on my apple and peach trees. The wand and nozzles are plastic but work well. Hose is long and flexible. It is a little heavy due to the battery. Bottom line, based on my experience and reading the other reviews, is that this is a good design and works well, however quality control and manufacturer is poor. You my have to fix it after you receive it, but it seems to work well after that."

"This sprayer is terrific you don't kill yourself pumping it. I used it to spray mosquitoe control on my half acre of land it took me as long as it took to walk the property. never stopped once. Next project was spraying stain on the deck could not believe how easy it went. Would highly recommend the product you can pay more and not get a better product."

This is GREAT,
April 15, 2008
By qc242from Gold Canyon, AZ
"My mother recently started taking over weed control from Dad, She complained that the 2gal sprayer was heavy and she tired from keeping it pumped up. I straped it to an old luggage dolly which helped. Then I saw the "NeverPump" and got it for her. She LOVES it, she straped it on the luggage dolly and only has to deal with a few refils, she sprayed her entire acre lot and had plenty of battery available for more. Its the perfect size and weight for her to mannuver."

jlyent's hudson review,
April 14, 2008
By jlyentfrom Smithtown, NY
"This is a very good sprayer for the money. It sprays for a very long time on one charge. Very good pressure, and the back pack holds alot of chemical. This is a versatile sprayer which I would recommend to anyone who does alot of spraying. Much better than a hand pump model, saves your arm alot of fatigue."

Hudson NeverPump Bak-Pak DC Pump Sprayer,
January 21, 2008
By BCKLLCfrom Labadie, MO
"This is a keeper..Pressure seems to be consistant...Battery life is long and most importantly rechargeable.....plenty of capacity for fluid....Great for many projects but best meets my needs for weed control....Only improovment I would make would be a more flexible possibly coil type hose....Seems a bit stiffer on a cool morning & with very cold water in the mix."

Hudson one week working pump,
January 14, 2008
By cinnamonfrom Dallas, Texas
"This is an example of wonderful idea and very bad quality. The charger works perfect but the pump quits working after 5-7 days. It is very good quiet tool which is a pleasure to work with when it works. Wonderful tool for someone who has to do a precision spraying or rinsing of the artwork. If the pump would work for more than a few days this would be a dream product. I used 9 of them and had to return each of them after 5-9 days under the warranty for replacement in order to finish my work. Thanks to this product I became very familiar with friendly, very helpful and kind management of the local Northern tool store. If I will ever need a rechargeable sprayer again I will have to use another product. If someone needs it on his back as a backpack he needs to consider its weight plus a weight of its four gallon capacity which comes to roughly 19 pounds."

HUDSON SPRAYER,
October 31, 2007
By james44from LOUISIANA
"I RECENTLY BOUGHT ONE OF THESE SPRAYERS AND I AM TRULY SATISFIED WITH THE QUALITY AND DETAIL PUT INTO THIS SPRAYER. ALSO THE EXTRA PARTS KIT THAT COMES WITH IT IS VERY HELPFUL IF YOU SHOULD MISPALCE A PART. THE SPRAYER ALSO IS VERY POWERFUL AND BATTERY LIFE IS GREAT, LAST FOREVER. I HAVE USED IT TO SPRAY SOME OF THE TOUGHEST TERRAIN IN THE SOUTHERN MARSH LANDS AND IT REACH'S OUT REALLY FAR. I HAVE RECCOMENDED IT TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS AS WELL, THANKS AGAIN NORTHERN HYDRAULICS FOR SELLING ANOTHER GREAT PRODUCT. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD GREAT SUCESS WITH YOUR PRODUCTS."
