Pullzall not so tough,
May 1, 2008
By AtomMaster

"I had bought this tool for helping to pull wire or lift items. At times we pull wire with our tugger used for this purpose but due to mounting restrictions we would often find ourself needing a few more feet out of the pipe that our tugger could do due to its configuration. First job we used this on the cable came apart. In fairness we were probably putting one heck of a load on it but I do not think that the cable should have given out. Probably a great tool if you really only plan on using it for 1/2 of it's rating."

A must buy equipment,

"This equipment is a very useful one. I have seen the reviews about this product. The type of load this baby can pull is enormous. Any one including me who want a small equipment that do not take many space, to pull heavy load, has to buy this machine. Peabo"

The Exact Tool For The Job!!!,
April 21, 2008
By DC195

"I had been looking for this exact winch (with connection hooks on both ends) for several months. I needed it to pull a dock at our lake house up a ramp as the water rose. They were either not available or cost several thousand dollars. I had just about given up, until I had a "Northern Tool" catalog show up. I wasn't sure this winch would be heavy duty enough, but it has been a champ. For a very reasonable cost, it has plenty of power & has saved me much manual labor."

PullzAll,

By davefn

"I would highly recommend the PullzAll. So far I've used it to get equipment like my riding lawnmower and generator into and out of my truck in a safe and controlled manner. The PullzAll looks, feels and performs like a top quality product. Northern Tool is also a merchant that I would recommend especially because they honored and delivered on their 110% price protection plan!"

Great Product,

"I purchased the WARN device for lifting my fifth wheel hitch in and out of my pickup truck. I had a hand crank one and it was getting touch to work. The hitch is 350 lbs and the PullzAll handled it with no hesitation. The speed control allowed me to lift it fairly quickly and inch it down very slowly onto my hitch pins. The gage for lifting hardly went to 2 bars for max lifting - so I know it can do a lot more than I did with it."

Handy pulling tool, short lifespan,
January 24, 2008
By WeldingCompany

"I purchased one of these nice lightweight winches October 2007 for an upcoming job. The primary task I bought it for was to lift small sheets of 3/16" plate from a truck to a 2nd story mezzanine balcony. I used the tool about 3 times in the shop, just to check its speed and get familiar with its functions. The shop load was approx 440 lbs. I used the winch yesterday in the field to lift the sheet plates about 11 feet, and the average plate weight was 183 lbs, just a little more than I wanted two men carrying up the stairs. There were 7 sheets, and after the third one, the winch was smoking and clearly running rough. The load graph of lights on the winch never exceeded 3 bars, which is well in the green zone. I never overloaded the winch or caused it to shut down. This is on a day which the temperature was about 38 degrees F. so there shouldn't have been an overheating issue. It did lift the 7 sheets, but I'm concerned about lowering the 7 old sheets after the work is done. An expensive tool if you can only get about 20 lifts out of it. I think I'll be switching back to the old-fashioned chain falls. I'd probably buy another one if I knew they'd last longer, though."

"We have been using winch to set 8"x10" beams on vaulted ceilings. Winch pulls them right up. A lot safer than muscling them up scaffold. Great product."
