Heat Reclaimer,
August 18, 2008
By Bogart7from Carnation, Wash
"When we purchased our new home there was an existing heat reclaimer already installed on the wood stove. Although the existing one was rigged with a leaf blower to it so it could blow the hot air out, clearly it had been through alot. So we purchased our new one through Northern tool, and is has been so much nicer, right out of the box It took less than 15 minutes to set up and we were up and running. Later on we were a little concerned about it's functions and thermostat and called Magic Heat directly and had the friendliest service, they made sure they had the same model sitting in front of them so that they could properly answer any questions I had. It was a good purchase...and looks better than a leaf blower too!"

magic heater,
April 23, 2008
By RolandPCfrom Rockport, ME
"The magic heater is great. It installed in just under 25 minutes. I have an oil heat furnace and the heater is running in the basement. it used to be very cool with out turning the heat up. Now it is unbelieveably warm down there for just a little fan to plug in. This free heat used to go up the chimney, remarkable product."

Magic Heat Reclaimer,
April 23, 2008
By rar13from New Jersey
"Even without insulation in my 20x20 workshop the Magic Heat Reclaimer keeps the area a toasty 60 degrees in the dead of winter. Installing the unit was easy, it can be pointed in any direction and it does not take up valuable work space."

magic Heat,
April 21, 2008
By BarbEfrom S.L.C. UT
"I first saw a Magic Heat in Idaho 30 years ago where families were heating their whole homes with log stoves. When we built our cabin I knew that I needed one and searched until I found Northern tool. The heat reclaimer is fabulous. It can heat our cabin in just a few hours. It definately is a product worth having. My husband didn't have any problems installing it."

Magic Heat 8 inch size,
April 15, 2008
By ColoradoWoodburnerfrom High Country, Colorado Rockies
"This is my second Magic Heat heat reclaimer. I had the first one for 15 years before selling that house. I've added this one to a new wood stove that I installed in our new home. I love the extra heat we get from this unit. We live at 8,000 feet in the Colorado Rockies, and our winters get very cold. This device helps us keep the house very comfortable. My only complaint is that I wish the fan was a little quieter. You can't hear it when you're out of the room, but when you're in the same room, it's noticeable. Not especially loud, but noticeable. A computer-style muffin fan would be quieter.
I connected some duct work to the outlet side of the Magic Heat so I could direct the heat to some rooms away from the stove. That works very well. The fan has enough push to move the hot air quite a ways down the duct.
I recommend this product to anyone who has a wood stove. It really increases the heat we get from our stove. It is very easy to install. Simply replace one section of verticle pipe on your stove flue with this unit and plug it in."

You need heat??,
April 14, 2008
By WoodCutterMikefrom Cedar Rapids IA
"We heat a 100 year old 3 story farm house in Iowa with wood stove. The addition of the Magic Heat Reclaimer is worth every penny. The house is in the middle of restoration and many of the exterior walls do not have sheetrock on the walls just insulation in the wall stud channels. This winter was colder than most winters we have experienced. There were days that the stove would have a hard time keeping the house at 60 degrees. With the addition of the Magic Heat Reclaimer we were able to keep the house at a more comfortable 68-72 degrees and on several ocassions taking as little as 45 minutes to go from 60 to 72 degrees. We figure we save between 0 to 0 a month over heating with natural gas."

Money Saver,
April 14, 2008
By RPFishfrom Northwestern PA
"The installation of the Magic Heat Reclaimer went without a hitch. The toggle switch on the back of the unit will do two things: keep the fan running continuously or activate the thermostat which turns the fan off when the fire dies down. I use this in my business and will fill the stove with scrap hardwood before going home at night and not have to worry about the fan running when the stove cools down. I installed the Reclaimer 6 weeks ago and I estimated it has saved me about .00 in natural gas. It will pay for itself in 2 to 3 weeks if the temperatures stay cold. I can’t wait to see what it saves me next winter."

Heat exchanger,
January 21, 2008
By Kentuckyhafbfrom SLC , UTAH
"I bought this unsure of its potential. I have it on a medium size indoor wood/coal stove. This exchanger puts out a ton of heat and uses a very small amount of electric. i measured the heat temp over 350 degs before."
