modify the brackets,
April 14, 2008
By 3tractorsfrom South Western Pa.
"The brackets I bought were installed on a car hauler / utility trailer and do what there suppost to do, hold the wood side boards together while hauling. They are kinda self explaining to install. Da...
The only complaint about them is they should have smaller holes also, so the installer would have a choice of using bolts or using wood screws for lighter applications. I personally didn't need all those bolts. The new style square head screws for outdoor wood and a battery drill with the square head bit would make this job cheaper, quicker and all around easier."

Stake Rail Brackets,
October 8, 2007
By JohnDeereStevefrom Missouri
""A must for any flatbed trailer with stake pockets and the need for easy removal. Brackets allow for easy removal/installation of side rails or just the back section of side rails for loading/unloading. This is my second trailer I've installed these on and I consider it a must have. Having these on my previous trailer which I sold, was a factor, I believe in getting top dollar for it!""
