"I bought this seat to replace the worn out standard, low back seat, on my 35 year old Snapper rear engine rider, so obviously I had to make an adapter in order to make it work. This was as simple as cutting a smallish piece of 3/4" plywood the size of the bottom of the seat and drilling four seeat to adapter bolt holes and one seat bracket/spring to adapter 1/2' bolt hole. In other words It Couldn't be Simpler! The reason that I went with this seat is I really needed the tall back for support for my previously broken back and this seat is perfect!! My lot is about a half of an acre and my old snapper is only 26" cut so I am out there for a while and if anybody is going to mow the grass for more than an hour they should have this high back seat! It is the best seat made, in my humble opinion."

"Overall this is a good "replacement" seat, you will need to replace the metric bolts holding your old Gator Seat with standard bolts but this is not a major thing in my opinion. Also the seat has no drain hole in the center(a good thing in my opinion) . The price is the biggest factor and its well worth it if you are replacing both seats on your Gator or multiple seats on multiple units."

"This seat was purchased for (2) JD Gators. I am pleased with the accuracy of the fit and the comfort. Although this seats back is hard plastic vs the original gator seat being metal the little differences are not noteworthy"
