Snowblower Cab,
March 7, 2007
By JonPfrom Hamden, CT
"Why wouldn't anyone use this product? After years of getting soaked and frozen, not to mention blinded, I decided to purchase the cab cover. Yes, it was simple to install, and easy to "customize" for my machine( I have fuzzy dice inside mine). It would be safe to say that it would be hard to find a blower it wouldn't fit. My first use of it was in an "everything" storm, and I mean everything. Here in New England, we have at least 100 words to describe snow, and this storm earned every one. Only Eskimos have more words for snow, and not by much. I have a big machine, a top of the line Ariens, other wise known as a John Deere. This machine does not care about the operator, it plows through anything, often killing the driver with hurling snow and ice. It was wet, it was powder, it was slush, it was ice... it was cold, but not for me! I was actually warm enough under that cab to open my coat, I even had to turn off the heated handles. And I stayed wonderfully dry. As for vision, many pedestrians and small animals are alive today because of the clear panaramic view afforded at all times. To purchase a snow blower without a snow cab would be ridiculous and this particular one is well worth the money, and not expensive at all. I love it!"

Roomy Enclosure Protects from wind,
January 25, 2008
By apsdadfrom Northern Ohio
"After ending up looking like a snowman after the last exercise in clearing my driveway, I decided that it was time to get a cab for my snowblower. This one was economical and looked to fit the bill. While the instructions were a bit hard to follow, I had it together in about half an hour. It is larger than I thought and provides good protection from the sides while leaving all controls (except the gear shift) easily accessible. A good investment."

Universal Snowblower Cab helps,
January 14, 2008
By idahomjfrom Idaho Falls Idaho
"The universal snowblower cab does help. Found two things though when putting the unit together (1) Different material recieved on mine verses anothers on cover material. Mine was a lighter material instead of a heavy one. It did get caught by the wind one time. Though it made it easier to put together. Not sure though on long term wearability. (2) Bracket shims used to hold assembly to snowblower needed modification for my older machince because of 50-degree angle versus more upright handle supports. Yes I would recommend it. Do not use in really high winds though, just common sense."

Universal Snow cab....,
January 11, 2008
By Toomanyoaksfrom Clearwater, MN
"The idea is good, but for those less than "jack of all trades" type of person, installation is almost impossible. For sure the two ubolts won't do the trick....I purchased one of these at a local establishment here in central Minnesota, and after fooling with it - in the cold - without much success, I returned it. I spent more money but got one that was actually easier to put on my blower...I would rcommend this to "real" handymen, but no one else....not worth all the trouble."

"I think the product is very good, especially at the price. I was disappointed at the instructions and the lack of any mounting instructions. The U-bolts are not a good way for attaching it and I purchased a piece of angle iron for a support."

Snow Cab,

By DonKfrom Wapwallopen, Pa
"Although the hardware that is included with the snow cab isn't enough to securely mount the cab , the addition of a couple a common hose clamps got the job done. I had to slit the front to allow the chute adjuster shaft to go through and cut a hole for the headlight to shine through , but otherwise it worked super for protecting you from the snow and wind and dollar for dollar it was a bargan. After a couple of uses it has held up well and remains securely mounted with the added hose clamps."

Universal Snowblower Cab Mel#uc10034,

"Although I had to make a simply modification to the back ends of the unit to stay horizontal in use I think this unit is the best thing since sliced bread. Its terrific in windy weather and the snow is blowing.I don't have to keep turning the blower chute exhast because it protects me from the backdrafts. Now when I'm done snowblowing and return to the garage I'm dry as a bone.It wasn't that way before I had the universal snowblower cab. The price was great and better than most I looked at.and delivery was fast. Thanks."

"U-Bolts hold everything which are not enough to hold this unit. Poorly designed for mounting and need 2 people to erect this. Idea is great for blowing snow with windy conditions but it needs better fastening system."
