Works Great,
May 12, 2008
By campguy

"I installed this at my camp to maintain the battery to my generator. It works great. Previously I was having to bring an extra battery with me to jump start the generator. No more. Easy to install and does what it says."

Battery MINDer Solar Charging System,
April 14, 2008
By 2scooter
from Yucaipa, Ca
|
"I have this unit installed on a frame that telescopes about 8 feet in the air. It is bolted on the front of my toy hauler, that charges 2-12 volts batteries. This way I can dry camp, without having to depend on other power sources. I am very please, and it accomplishes what I want from it."

remote boat site,
January 21, 2008
By gerryhorn

"I installed this solar unit at a floating boat dock, after fully charging the three batteries. So far, the charge has been maintained, as measured by a battery load tester. It solves the problem of having to carry the batteries 400 yards, uphill!"

Battery minder,
October 10, 2007
By doorman
from New Jersey
|
"I found the battery minder to be very effective at keeping batteries on truck charged, we use power inverters that can quickly drain the batteries, the Battery minder does take care of the problem. I do think that there should be better mounting hardware included with the unit as we manufactured our own brackets"

Works well,
October 8, 2007
By NYDave

"It has been used, all summer, to keep 2 boat batteries fully charged. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that it would be more useful to have longer wires."

By orion

"I bought this solar charger for my cabin. so far ir works great. it is easy to install and simple to hook-up the only problem i can see with it is, the wire from the solar panel is not long enough. other than that it works perfectly charging my 12 volt deepcycle marine battery"

Rugged solar panel,
January 20, 2007
By mballar
from Niangua, Missouri
|
"Installed this on the roof of a storage building to charge a battery used with an inverter to provide interior lighting. The solar panel is very well built, solid construction with mounting brackets included. It also produces a lot of power, even in relatively low light. The only problem I had is the Battery MINDer portion failed within 2 months of the installation, and I am going to have to replace it."

Solar power battery minder works great.,
December 1, 2006
By Bret
from Chowchilla, California
|
"I coupled a 15 watt solar panel with the solar battery minder to tend my Toy Hauler battery pack while in storage and it works great. I have the trailer covered so I have the solar panel mounted on a portable stand and take it with me when I go on the road with the trailer. It works great in deer camp to keep the battery pack charged and in top condition. The only time I had to run the generator is when I needed the micro-wave. The only thing that could be better is a longer power cord from the panel to the control module, I had to make up my own. I recommend this product whole heartedly. AAAAA+"
