"The product is really user friendly, and has a nice layout. It is an easy way to view the percentage usage of the generator. It is nice because you can have this inside the house and view it, unlike meters that are part of the transfer switch that you have to go out to the garage to look at. The only downside of this meter is that the percentage shown seems to be the "overall" percentage usage of the generator. Most other meters on the transfer switch show you two separate usage scales. One for each of the 120 bars. In some ways that is better, because then you can load balance the generator better by arranging the items being powered to balance between the two 120 poles. The B&S meter just gives you the overall average, so you can't really fine tune the load balancing with this meter."
