"I would rate the flo and go Pump as Poor because for us it did not last longer than around two weeks. The spout broke and therefore the pump was unusable."

"Don't waste your money on this product. Nozzle broke off after one week. Leaks and will not shut off when you release the valve, thus everything overflows and gas goes everywhere. Poor design, would not recommend."

Failure to launch,
October 30, 2007
By DEBBfrom Illinois
"Pump works for approx. 6 to 8 weeks then develops leak in the cheap plastic pumping ball. Have had 4 units, giving benefit of doubt and all have failed. The old mouth on hose suction method outperforms this device. can't believe they have not redesigned or continue to sell. Save your money. Have gotten my refund each time though."

No more gas spills,
October 29, 2007
By BillBfrom Seattle, WA
"I have used the older version of this product for over 5 years... I liked it so much that I bought a second one. The first one is used with a 5 gallon plastic can which has an oil-gas mixture (20:1). I use this for my two weed wackers, hedge trimmer, lawn mower, blower and any other gas device which requires a mixture. The second one that I bought was added to a different 5 gallon can which I use with straight gas. This is used for my wood chipper and riding mower - and for PRIMING them via the spark plug opening when they won't start. That alone saves me from having to find and fill a small container.
Both of these are left installed permanently on the cans. There is no noticable evaporation and this way they are immediately ready for use. As I said my first one was 5 years old when this summer the pump on it failed... it just slides and offers no vacuum. I tried to fix it but gave up... and then immediately ordered a replacement. This newer model, with the pump at the handle, may be the improvement to fix the problem that I experienced... if it does, then I WILL ORDER ANOTHER ONE of these to replace any of mine that go bad... It really is a great item... you can pump just the amount of fuel that you want into small containers... without spilling gas all over the place.
My wife likes it since she doesn't have to lift the full 5 gallon jug. Before that, i always had to do all of the filling... now... she does it too. That alone, makes it worth the price!! ha!"

flo and go hand pump,
July 15, 2007
By JBH1from massachusetts
"The item looks a little flimsy when first viewed but it does transfer gas from a storage can to your small engine gas tank very easily with very little effort on the squeeze handle. You do have to hold the safety on the handle while pumping which could be a little inconvient until you got used to it. It also has another safety at the connection to the gas can which you have to open before you can pump or all that happens is that you suck the hose flat. The hose could be a little longer, but it is adequate. The only thing I had trouble with was the connection to the gas can. I had a older can which did not match up to the hose connection without modification. I would recommend buying the gas can that matches to avoid problems. I bought this for my brother-inlaw who has one bad arm and can not pour gas from a can. It has made his life much easier as he can fuel his equipment himself."

Don't waste your money!,
June 9, 2007
By STEPHfrom FREEPORT IL.
"I recently purchased the flow n go transfer pump,it's not very efficent it is a siphon pump, which means it is dependent on gravity so the gas can it is attached to must be higher than the tank you are trying to fill, pump would not fit gas can lid,it seems the only can it will fit is the scepter brand, the manufacture of the pump,I had to modify the lid on my can jus to try it ,you are further ahead to pour your gas from the can, northern use to offer a different style in the past, for less money which woked well, I bought this one hoping it would be better..."
