"This is a good generator for someone that wants to be mobile. Lots of available power however this is divided through the outlets you choose. If you are only plugging in to the 110 volt outlets you only have 2000 watts. If you need to run your house or workshop you must use the 50amp plug to get maximum watts. Another downside to the generator is the noise and weight. This thing is loud the enclosed stand-by generators are much quieter. And empty this things weighs around 500 pounds however it does roll pretty easy for it weight and is well balanced on the wheels so you don't have to lift 500lbs to roll it around. It holds 16 gal of fuel and that is also extra added weight. Overall I like the generator just wish it was quieter!"

"I have the 15,000 watt model. It does the job easily. Easy starting. Low maintenance. Idle control. Voltage meter. Winter pre-heated air switch/control to prevent carb icing. Convenient. You won't be unhappy with purchase. Negatives are; it's noisy-hearing protection is necessary up close. Somewhat awkward to move. It walks -vibration movement when running. 15w-40 not recommended as it voids the CARB standard although the oil itself works better than fine. The additives in the oil are emission culprits only. They also cut down on wear! You make the call. Easily bumped starter switch. Heavy! No hour meter. No rain shield over electrical plugs. No battery cut-off switch or lock/key. Thirsty, but not sure that it's out of line consumption-wise for it's size."

"I purchased the genarator as a backup, and found it to be more than sufficient for my needs. I like the easy start up and the convenient hookup to the house. The only negative to it is the handle to move it around is to high for moving it easily over obsticles."
