"found no decible rating on hearing protection, instructions plainly indicate "life expectancy of one year" Not much of a value for the price"

Safety on the head.,
January 14, 2008

""The product came through will all the parts . You just need to use a little ingenuity to figure out how it all fits together properly. Instructions would have been nice for those who are not puzzle oriented. I have tried it on and it fits better than the separate parts some of which do not fit. I wold have liked to see the method of adjusting the inside portion of the helmet. " ( to add to the Technical expertise below-I am not professional, that is I do not earn a living at tree removal, I am retired. However, I believe I am more than "Home handyman")"

Helmet,
January 14, 2008

"The size of the head band is not adjustable. this is a bad feature that limits the use of the helmet. The face cover is clear plastic -- it would be better if it was a sturdy screen."

Good Idea, poorly executed,
October 19, 2007

"I really liked the idea of a combination hard-hat/ear protection and eye protection, and quickly jumped on this item. Although it works, the unit is made of very cheap plastic and does not feel like a serious safety piece of equipment."

Good product,
July 15, 2007

"The only (slight) negative to this product was that there were two layers of protective plastic wrap on the clear face sheild. One was tinted blue and obviously needed to be removed. The other had no tint and it was not initially obvious that it was present. After removing both layers I found the face shield to be very clear. On using the product I found the adjustments easy to manipulate the ear protection keeps it secure on the head, and the face sheild gives a nice safe feeling to a weekend warrior removing a fallen tree. I did not have trouble with the face shield fogging up, but I used it on a warm day."

Great Protection,
July 9, 2007

"This is so much better than safety glasses. I even use it when trimming with my gas string trimmer. Much more protection. Dust and debris have a much tougher path to reach your eyes.
The ear protection is convenient, so I actually use it instead of wishing I had when my ears are ringing at the end of the day."

Works but nothing fancy,
April 9, 2007
By Vandil

"Helmet and Ear muffs work pretty well, keeps the entire thing securely on your noodle and the chainsaw noise to a minimum.
Face sheild, fogs up like crazy, not nearly as "clear" as the item picture, stay up feature requires constant retightening of finger screws on the helmet sides, not scratch resistant.
Ended up taking the face sheild off and using saftey glasses instead."
