Northerns Products Make My Job Easier,
April 17, 2008

"I am a trackworker for New York City Transit. I work all over the system. It is a vast system of tunnels which requires constant maintanance. The Coleman 3ft., 10-Gauge Generator Cord w/Y Adapter has made my job a little easier. Before I found this product on Northerns web site I would need a generator for power tools. Now wherever there is an available twist lock outlet all I need is my Coleman Generator cord and extention cords. It has lightened my load and made my job site a little safer. This is a quality product that I would recommend to anyone. I purchased five for coworkers. They thank me every day."

"What can I say this is a great product at a very reasonable price. It allows me to plug into the 220 volt outlet of my generator and have two 120 volt outlets available"

"Bought this for our cabin generator. The regular outlets tended to vibrate out, and the twist locking plug prevents this. Very heavy duty and of fine quality."

Coleman 3ft., 10-Gauge Generator Cord w/Y Adapter,
March 9, 2007
By Richard03

"I recently purchased a 5500 watt portable generator for use in case of power loss during adverse weather conditions or for that matter, any conditions where we may loose power from the power company grid. It seems we have more "brownouts" and temporary outages than before. Since my generator has a 120/240V output (and I'll probably never use 240V in an emergency) I purchased the Coleman 3ft., 10-Gauge Generator Cord w/Y Adapter. I wanted a couple of more 120V outlets. The adapter is very well constructed and at 10 gauge will safely handle the output from the generator. I use it to "exercise" the generator and it performed excellently. I have yet to use it in an actual power outage, but I am confident it will easily do the job."

"Most generators come with only one "thirty amp" receptical w/twist lock. With this unit, you now have the option to have two 10-gauge outlets at 20-amp load. I told my son-in-law about this item and he has ordered on also."
