A good sign and a good laugh,
January 16, 2008
By Rarenp
from southern Iowa
|
"They say you get what you pay for. If that is true, and a laughs are dollars, I'd be a very rich man. My wife purchased this sign for me after I saw it in your magazine and made a comment on it. She was decided (without my knowledge) that I should have this sign on the outside of my shop. It looks very nice where it is, and I have to say I was impressed with the quality of the printing plus the durability of the steel that it is made from. This is no stamped out piece of tin."

Busted Knuckle Garage Collectible Metal Sign,
January 14, 2008
By jwmack

"This sign is great for anyone in frequent contact with their local auto mechanic. I gave this sign as a christmas gift to a relative who frequents several auto repair centers for several vehicles he owns. He said this would be an ideal gift for one of them."

"This was a funny gift to my mechanic son. He enjoyed the sign and is posting it on his tool box. I had thought the sign was going to be a heavier, older looking metal and I was somewhat disappointed in the quality of the material."

"IT WAS WHAT I HOPED IT WOULD BE. I MOUNTED IT ON A PIECE OF PLYWOOD AND HUNG IT IN MY GARAGE. IT GIVES THE PLACE CLASS. DOSED IT WITH A LIGHT COAT OF WD 40 AND DISPLAY IT OVER MY WORK BENCH."

Busted Knuckle,
March 6, 2007
By Danny
from Oregon

"This sign is perfect for any garage or shop. This sign says it all for those of us that have worked on anything in our life. Weather is was the car or the noisey lawn mower. We have all had some type of "repair and despair" under our roof."

Metal signs,

"Great to see that Northern is now selling these types of items. The signs are not the cheap ones you see at the fairs, but they are rugged like the original ones. They also add the little something to your shop."
