Hawkeye Emergency Light,
October 18, 2007
By JulieRfrom Outer Banks, NC
"I purchased this light because I am a rural mail carrier and was purchasing emergency lights at a local parts store and was doing it very frequently. I chose this light because it has LED lights. I felt this light would last a long time. I am very happy with this light however I have been told when it is very bright out it is hard to see. I also like the feature you can chose the setting of light display. All in all I am very happy with this light."

Flash on, Flash Off,

"I love this product. I bought it to mount on my Honda ATV when I am using it to plow snow. Even though the ATV has headlights and taillights I wanted an added measure of visibility to prevent wayward drivers from hitting me. The variety of flashing patterns that are programmable is awesome and makes the light useful for different occasions. Also a big issue was drain on the battery on my ATV. The literature claims a small 1.5 amps draw but i measured it and it was closer to 1 amp, very meager compared to motor driven units. I must say though that the light intensity may not be sufficient for some uses. In a blinding snowstorm I think I might want more light if stranded or parked along a major highway with lots of traffic. Overall, I love the product and highly recommend it!"
