"Things like the knurled quick change nut, ultra slim head, and the head that you can clock, make the DEWALT brand of grinders the best. I have used them all and this is no doubt the best. I like the 10 amp and 13 amp units, but the lower amp units will work for the casual to moderate user."

"I previously owned the Makita grinder and was quite happy with it until I bought this tool. Wow. It's aggressive and doesn't bog under a load very much. I have used it as a wood shaper on flooring and custom wood projects. It's a better balanced and not as gyroscopically torquey. The side arm gives you alot more control that screws in on either side. It cuts metal great. I have yet to start grinding some of my welding but summers on the way."

"Recently used this tool for a major home modeling project. Lots of cutting and grinding of cement and stucco, worked great. Had some problems with the built in conversion kit to use the diamond blade, but that may have been me, as I am not a professional."

"first of all you cant go wrong with dewalt. this grinder is great. i do lots of grinding and they really stand up. they are light and easy to get into hard to get into areas."

"This grinder is perfect for the do it yourself person. Easy to store and easy to handle with or without the handle. Perfect for those small grinding jobs around the house and shop. It has plenty of power when grinding large pieces and for those hard to get to places where a large grinder won't fit. All around this is a is a great small grinder I would recommend to any person that was looking for one around the house or at a fab shop. But than what else would expect from Dewalt I have yet to be diappointed by any of their products."

"I bought this because of previous experience with DEWALT tools and was not disapointed. Easy to use and to change disks, with a easy to use safety switch that others do not have. Typical of the DEWALT brand and quality. Would recomend to any one wanting a grinder."
