The Hammer drill,
October 30, 2007
By Sixquin

"I've used Dewalts hammer drills in the past and have found them to have more than enough power to get the job done. Back in the 80's, I worked in the construction field and finding cordless tools was hard and finding cordless hammer drills was even harder. While working on a small job, one of the workers broke out a hammer drill and it was cordless, only 12 volts at the time but it did the job and I felt I had to have one. It was in the early 90's when I saw this cordlees drill, I would have saved a lot of time if I had this tool when I first started working construction. From that point on I always used Dewalts' hammer drills. Today they have more power and older cordless tools are still being used. These drills last long and can get the job done. Trust me I've been in the commerical construction field for over 20 years."

"We have (2) 14 Volt Drills and (1) Impact Wrench and we use them daily and would be lost without them! They work well and stand up to the daily use on our farm. We use our DeWalt products A LOT and have quiet a few other DeWalt products. I would defanitely recommend these!"

"These are some of the toughest drills I have ever used. They are strong and help get the job done fast. I especially like the impact driver, it is so light and really gets those hard screws in."

"the price for both tools was more than a bargain. I personally like using the 14 volt compared to the 18 volt because it's lighter and has less fatigue on my arms."
