roofing coil nailer,
December 4, 2006
By handyandyfrom shrewsbury,ma
"Dear Northern Tool & Equipment:
After getting numerous expensive quotes on roof job for my home I decided to do it myself. I shopped around at the big hardware stores for a roofing nailer gun, and lo and behold I found out they were around 0-0. Then came in the mail the Northern catalog and advertised one for 9.99 (model no. 100994-2701). I purchased it and it works great. The instructions were precise, it's easy to work with, came with oil, tools and a carrying case. I would recommend it to a friend any time, you saved me a bundle! Thanks again, Northern Tool & Equipment."

Great buy,

"The rubber grip and aluminum body make this a great nail gun to work with for an extended period of time, I finished my roof in a week exact working with this nailer. The safety contact trip fire and the adjustable exhaust deflector only adds to the confidence that anything's possible with this machine. Would consider this the best bang for my buck as far as nail guns go."

cheap but good,
January 25, 2008
By Anonymous Reviewerfrom Zion Illinios
"I have used this brand and design of gun for the price its completly worth it. the gun is trustable but has its fallbacks such as it dosen't put nails flush or beneath the surface in concrete board. on roofs the gun is excellent dosen't run the compressor to death like bigger gun do. the price compared to that of a name brand such as DeWalt or Paslode the price is about 0 less or more. the weigth of this gun is not bad compared to the weight of a bostich version or that of the portacable on."

Great Value,
January 14, 2008
By shiznice007from Boston, MA
"The roofing nail gun proved to be a wise investment. The cost was in the low range and the only problem that I encountered was the gun would double fire. The gun would fire 2 nails at once, but it happened few and far between. I didn't find it to be a problem because a roof in not finish carpentry. Therefore, based on price and performence I would recomment the nail gun to a friend."

Pretty good roofing nailer,
January 14, 2008
By grcafrom Tampa, FL
"I had considered the name brands at + higher, but after reading the good reviews on this nailer, comparing them in the stores, and figuring I only planned to do one roof, I chose this one for the best value. The nailer I originally received would quite often mis-fire and the loading door would pop open. The online customer service group immediately sent me a second unit and return authorization for the first one. The replacement nailer operates really well with no problems at all. Something to consider - customer service told me that repair parts are available, but are imported and may sometimes take a while to get. If you plan on using this tool for production work, you would probably want to go with a name brand nailer."

Great Inexpensive Tool,
October 29, 2007
By BigDaddeeDIYfrom Miami, Fl
"After reviewing a number of nailers, I found that this one was reasonable and comperable to the others. After using it I am glad that I purchased it. I have used other, more expensive nailers and this one is right up there with them."

September 18, 2007
By OUroofed12from Nothern New York
"- I finally bought this tool, should have done it 2 roofs ago. - Can’t beat the price, ½ to a 1/3 the price of others - Used it side by side with a PC gun, preformed just as well - No issues with the loading, very similar to other roofing nail guns I’ve used (Bos, PC, ect.) before"

nailer,
September 15, 2007
By Pygmalionfrom Marine City, MI
"Great buy and I found loading not to be any problem. Works very well with my small portable compressor, which I was concerned about initially, with air-to-spare! Well built and looks to endure. Saved me a lot of time and effort and could never go back to pounding a nail like some kinda cave-man. Great deal...."
