Northern Industrial 15 Guage Finish Nailer,
July 9, 2007
By 4Huskysfrom Philadelphia, PA
"The product was packed very well and had all the components contained inside the very nice case that came with it. The price for this piece was also very competitive. I am an intermediate level wood worker and have used this finish nailer for a number of projects to date and have had excellent results with it so far. To be honest, I had never heard of the Northern Brand before this purchase but would not hesitate to buy another Northern Brand tool. I would highly recommend this product to fellow woodworkers and friends."

15 Gauge finish nailer,
July 9, 2007
By Honeydofrom Fort Worth, Tx
"I purchased this nailer for building some outdoor patio chairs. This nailer works best with porter-cable brand fasteners. I have probably sent 200 nails through this nailer. I have found that it works extremely well. It never jambs and it is very simple to adjust the nail depth."

excellent nail gun,
June 5, 2008
By MilesDfrom Virginia
"This finishing nailer is the best air powered small gauge nail gun I have used.
The gun places the fastener at an optimum angle every time, effortlessly. The safety mechanism and trigger operate smoothly, so that the air pressure at the tool can be quickly adjusted to get the preferred fastener depth in the work piece.
I was using the finishing nailer to reattach some loose vinyl siding on my house, when a professional remodlling contractor saw me using the nail gun. The contractor wanted to look at the nailer.
He liked this nailer so much he ordered one. . Northern Tool provides great products at the best prices."

Nailed it like a pro,
May 29, 2008
By slingerlandfrom Houston, TX
"This made running a house full of crown molding so easy I almost cried when the job was done but decided instead to relax and celebrate with a cold adult beverage. Worked flawlessly. Be sure and practice with some scrap to get your air pressure dialed in. Worked best for me at 65-psi. Great results at a money saver price. Thanks Northern."

Great tool,
January 30, 2008
By SoTierBldgCofrom Breesport NY
"I have owned and used air nailers in the past, and was a bit 'concerned' when I saw the price. My experience is that you get what you pay for. After recieving this tool I was very pleased to find excellant quality and workmanship in this nailer. While other (name brand) air tools have stamped sheet metal or plastic parts, this has machined parts that are held in place with real cap screws. The gun works flawlessly. Two things could be better, 1) you really have to study the nails that are available to find the right ones, the tool literature should suggest which brands of nails work. 2) there should be a depth adjustment. Regarding the latter, I found you can use the pressure regulator on the compresser to adjust the depth of the nail head. For a straight 90 degree strike 65 - 70 lbs works well, for an angled strike 85 - 90 will set the head."

Good nailer,
January 1, 2008
By mohomeowner
"I got this to install some doors. I've been using Hitachi nails in it and they work great in this nailer. I'm impressed. Very good price for a very good nailer. Works very well. I used some 2 1/2 inch nails in some 2x4s to shorten some door frames and it worked perfectly. I'm impressed....so much so that I ordered a Northern brad nailer. I wish I had bought the Northern roofing nailer too but I bought a different brand. Guess I'll have to break it so that I can get another one of these Northern ones.
Highly recommended."
