3 in 1 framing nailer,
October 9, 2007
By Lumbermanfrom Webster SD
"The main reason I purchased the nailer is that I have arthritis in my hands and its hard for me to keep pounding with a hammer. With the nailer I can go a lot longer and get done a lot faster. The other reasons are the light weight and that I am able to shoot three sizes of nails. It not only shoots 16d, it also shoots 8d. I can use it for building shleves, sheeting and remodeling projects. I also work in a lumber yard where I build feed bunks, this will allow me to build them in a lot shorter time. The price of the nailer was great and the price of the nails was also right. I am very satisfied with my nailer after using it to complete our new garage at the lake."

Quick, Easy, Dependable,
July 9, 2007
By TheBearfrom Gulfport, Ms.
"Since I purchased the Northern Industrial 3-in-1 Framing Nailer, I've used it several times. Each time made me realize that I should have bought one years earlier. It makes you "look forward" to do the jobs that you would normally dread. It truly makes the job quicker and easier, especially when you are 25 feet off the ground, on a ladder, holding a 2x 6 in the other hand. The qualiy of this tool is as I would hope it would be, very good. It's not only compatable with the higher cost brands that you see in the building supply stores, but exceeds some of them in shooting 3 different angle of nails. You better get one!"

Excellent product,

"Let me say first that I've never used a nailer before, but sure have driven alot of nails in my time. I'm in the process of building my retirement/dream home in N. Idaho and decided to buy one and see what all the "hub-bub" was about. What a great way to frame nail! Light, easy to use, accurate, and best of all quick and effortless! And the price? much better than all the name brands! I can't imagine how I ever got along without it. And if it ever wears out I would buy another one immediately."

Very Pleased,
August 19, 2008

"Purchased this nail gun 14 months ago and put it to the test. Used different brand of nails at different angles w/ different types of heads. The only nail I had problems with was the nails in plastic clips.
The adjustable foot is a great addon for depth control when installing material such as Hardie board when you need the head of your nail flush.
Overall the gun is as good as any I have used in the past. And the only problem I had at all was some of the small screws would work loose and I used some medium lock tight and put the cure on that.
I have had several of my friends purchase this gun and to my knowledge are as satisfied as I am. BUY IT"

3-in-1 Framing Nailer,
August 18, 2008
By denyoung1from Kingston, TN
"I recently purchased the Northern 3-in-1 Framing Nailer to do some home projects. I have arthritis in my hands and find it a lot more difficult to use a hammer these days. I built a set of shelves in my garage with it and used 2 different sizes of nails. The nailer performed flawlessly and made it so much easier to do things without a second set of hands. I love it."

"I bought this gun to frame a garage apartment and it has run flawless. I bit heavier that some higher end framers but can't beat the product for the price. I would recommend!!"

Making woodworking enjoyable,
August 18, 2008
By offshoreherofrom Texas
""I am a weekend builder. I've been using Northern Industrial 3 in 1 Framing Nailer for about 1 year now and about 3 boxes of nails. First, I did have a bit of trouble finding nails. Even though this nailer has 3 different degree settings I found only 1 degree (21 degree) nails readily available. Next, the nailer is light and it's easy to move up and down and get into odd angles. I love the way you can adjust the angle of the air exhaust. The light weight of the hammer and the versatility of movement is more than I ever imagined. I was hanging off the ladder, while building my front porch, that upset my wife but, I was able to reach the spot and put a nail in it with this nailer - that was what made purchasing this gun all the better. No more hammers!!
I did a small amount of reading about problems and issues with air hammers.Even talked to a few carpenters about problems. They all talked about weight and nail jams. This hammer has a nice balance and is not heavy at all. Sometimes, if a couple of nails are really stuck in the hammer I can release the one screw setting and then I bang on it with my hand and the nails fall out. I have left a few packs of nails out in the rain and they rusted, so I figured let's give this thing a try. The nails were not bad rusty but the nailer didn't even jam. This nailer is the best investment i have ever made. You want to talk about making life and woodworking simpler, this is the nailer to purchase. I am very glad to have bought this nail gun."

Powerful,
August 12, 2008
By Stuntmanfrom Houston
"My first framing gun, I really like it. The exhaust can be adjusted away from user. Gun was factory set to full, went into 2 2X4's with a 3" nail, it was 1/8" deep. After a few adjustments, had it flush. The loaded nails are convenently at an angle so to leave more room to fit into tight places. Being able to use several types of nails I am sure is a plus. I have used a nail gun before, I like this one better. The price was what got me. I bought a screw gun thinking that I could use it in place of a framing gun, for the home, then I caught this price from Northern. I sure am glad I have it. Sure will be faster than a screw gun on my next two jobs I got lined up for this framer (fence, and floor in attic)."
