"I purchased this trailer to haul my motorcycles, 2 sportbikes, around the US. There was enough space to add a box in the front and still had plenty of room for the bikes. It towed perfectly straight an all road surfaces The full sized ramp gave us a lot of flexability in loading the bikes. All we added were a tougue jack, a spare tire and tie downs."

"Excellent purchase for price. Hauled apx 1K lbs 300+ miles, then returned with about 1/2 the load - trailed like a champ. Easy to hook up. Accidently popped off a red running light cover, but Northern Tool+Equipment replacement parts worked perferct (even tho' they look different / screws instead of clips.) Would recommend upgrading the licence plate braket (plastic). Mine was broke, but I'd planned on replacing this anyway. Again, excellent for everyday 'homeowmer' hauling / or hooking up behind a tractor for semi-heavy yard work. Made in GA. My usual Home & Garden center sells a smaller (3X6) trailer for the same, or slightly more..."

5X8 Utility Trailer,
March 30, 2008

"I love my little trailer! I got mine, already assembled and on sale at the local NT store. My husband has a big trailer that's just too much trouble to take to the home improvement store to pick up sheets of plywood, bags of concrete, etc. This trailer tows great, we forget it's back there! Also bought the trailer jack, spare tire and holder and tie-downs. The trailer jack we got was too big, so I'm searching for a smaller one that will fit this trailer. Would highly recommend."

"Trailer arrived in several boxes & in good shape - very heavy. Fairly easy to assemble, instructions OK & all parts were included. Also picked up the Jack/wheel, spare wheel/tire & the spare wheel mount. Only complaint here was that they seemed to be sized for a larger frame member than existed on the trailer. One other minor negative is that the tailgate forms too sharp an angle for some pieces of equipment (eg. tractors with mowing deck) and I had to get a set of ramps to solve. Have been using for ~ 1 yr with no complaints."
