"I had planted six grape vines and six fruit trees, and needed a way to water them. I used a hose but it was taking a lot of my time. I ordered the tree soaker rings from Northern. They came in short order. When you take them out of there boxes they look like a big spider that is out of control. They have two circular tubes that link together, with several tubes that connect the circular tubes. The only problem I had was snaping the circular tubes together. I broke one of the plastic connectors. This does not affect the use of the soaker. I put them around my grape vines and my fruit trees. I bought a bunch of garden hoses and cut them to length to go from one plant to the next., put new ends on the hoses. Connected the hoses to the soaker rings, made shure all the shutoff valvues except the last one was open. Turned on the water and left the plants to get a soak. I installed them several months ago and my plants and I am very happy. I will have to take them out when it freezes but that will be very easy. Over all I would have no problem recomending these to anyone who can connect a hose to a sprinkler."
