"Purchased this with 15 Watt panels (also from Northern) for our cabin in the Sierra Nevadas. Went together very easily and had a large number of different connectors.
Like the reviewer below, I found that the holes did not line up with the panels that it's made for. But it was nothing a drill couldn't fix.
When I get my next group of panels, I will likely purchase another one."

"I bought this kit for the connector parts . For the summer I did use the pvc rack but found it flimsy. It is easy to assemble. If your panels do not line up with holes you can just drill. The connectors and controller are great. I got this through hot deals so it was really cheap. I do not know if I would pay full price."

"This item proved to be just the thing I needed to connect together the panals that I allready have. It also will work great on the ones I have ordered. Thank you. I only give items a 4 star approval and that is any product. Otherwise people might think it is perfect and nothing is ever perfect."

Good idea, could use a couple of refinements,

"I got this kit with four Northern 15 watt solar panels. The kit holds the panels well, but the bolts are all too long and need to be cut in order to avoid catching things with them. Also one of the plastic rings around one tubing section was fractured badly and had to be glued. And lastly, the holes in the tubing do not correspond to all of the holes in the Northern panels, so I had to drill 8 extra holes in the tubing. On the big plus side, the kit goes together pretty easily, despite no real instructions, and the various wiring kits that come with it are extremely helpful and well thought out. I purchased a separate controller before realizing this kit included one, I'll probably find a reason to use the extra one later on, but other buyers of this kit might want to keep that in mind. I had thought it would be neat to be able to mount this kit, hinged, to the roof of my trailer and raise it up when parked. The tubing is not strong enough for that; to do that it would probably have to be metal pipe instead of PVC, this in order to safely support the weight of the Northern panels at travelling speed. All the same, though it makes a nice kit and a very handy way to quickly deploy up to four Northern solar panels for battery charging once a rig is at a camping sight. Four panels are very effective mounted together like this, their output is 4 amps, enough to fully charge a deep cycle battery in about 5 hours, and they produce this power quietly in most daylight situations. I'm very pleased, I'll have no need for a generator with this rig."
