"We live out in the country and are not near to the alert sirens , and if you don't have TV or radio on you may not have any warning of bad weather aproaching. This radio is easy to program and works great . You program the types of alerts and the area you want the alerts from , plug it in and turn it on . When bad weather moves in it lets you know , could be a real life saver . I also gave one as a house warming gift , so I have bought two so far . The am/fm radio features just adds to the package . I highly recommend this unit ."

"This radio is easy to set up and the features are easy to use with intuitive controls. The one touch am/fm and weather band selector buttons are right there on top of the unit. The backlight is a nice blue color and you can use this as an alarm clock, too. The speaker is decent quality and you do not have to have volume set high in order to hear across the room or a couple of rooms away. An alarm goes off before an alert is broadcast. There are also am/fm presets for your listening pleasure."

"The radio is a must have for me. We have thunder storms about three times or more a week and it's good to know where they are coming through and what time. This radio doesn't miss any kind of alarm and I'm glad. Also good for winter months to.Very good product and works great for me. I'am glad that I bought it, gives me peace of mind knowing that I can stay ahead of things Thank you very much"

All Hazard Weather Radio,

"From the first time I turned this radio on I knew I made the right choice, I have had emergency radios in my home for many years and this is the first one that alerts me to everything. I have had amber alerts, wind, blizzard warnings and just about everything else. The only thing this unit does that is annoying is when we have our monthly tornado warning test the radio siren goes the whole time the toranado sirens are running (about 15 minutes). It is a little annoying but at the same time, reassuring that we will have adequate warning in the event of a real tornado. I highly recommend this unit for the safety conscious."
