great stove,

"This stove does all it claims. I was looking for a stove that could handle large pots and cook large amounts of food. The main thing was protection from the wind, which this stove provides. The price was very good and the quality was much better than expected."

Great for the outdoors,
September 12, 2008
By Xolofrom Calgary, AB
"I bought this to replace my little Coleman camp stove. Man does it work great!
My girlfriend bought some of the cast iron cookwear for it on our last camping trip. They work great. Especially the dutch oven.
I also am not impressed with the little screws they give for the legs. They should come up with a better way to lock the legs in place."

Camp Chef Double Burner-One Hot Stove,
August 16, 2008
By AndyHfrom Champaign, IL
"The stove itself is very, very good and produces high levels of heat. I purchased the optional BBQ box from Camp Chef and am extremely pleased. The system gets hotter than almost any traditional BBQ grill with grate temperatures of 750 degrees or higher easily obtainable. If you enjoy cooking at high temperatures I recommend this grill for you. The stove by itself is also great for quickly heating very large pots of water or a cast iron deep fat fryer."

Camp Chef Stove,
August 11, 2008
By HMM3from Pennsylvania
"This free standing propane stove is one of the nicest units of its kind I have ever used. The Legs are sturdy and adjustable for uneven ground providing a steady level cooking surface. The wind screen shields the burners from the wind allowing even heat for cooking. The wind shield is easily attached and detached yet fits securely to the stove. The only think I didn't like was the length of the gas regulator hose. Its too short, however, this stove does include the regulator and hose unlike other similar stoves. The Stove provides plenty of easily regulated heat for all types of outdoor cooking. The Stove packs up easily and neatly. A great Stove I recommend it to anyone who camps out or cooks outdoors."

Camp Stove,
April 14, 2008
By ABDIVERfrom Grass Valley, CA
"The only issue I had is with the thumb-screws that hold the legs on...they are metal screws with plastic twist-handles. Three of the screws had the plastic handles broken off when I opened the box. I think using all-metal screws would solve this."

Love it,
January 21, 2008
By JohnnyIce211from Cloquet, MN
"If you camp with your family or in a large group you will love this camp stove. It's versatile in that you can stand it up away from the table or fold the legs and place it directly on a picnic table to cook. It's large enough to use a large rectangular griddle on it and the heat can be adjusted in fine increments like your home propane stove burners. I've also used this stove to boil my mash when home-brewing beer and to boil maple sap down to make syrup. It's also a cinch to clean and will quickly boil a stock pot of water for doing your camp dishes as well."

Best of the best,
October 29, 2007

"I own a couple of these stoves. I liked my first one so much that I bought a second one to allow my daughter-in-law to learn to cook outdoors right along side of me. They are very strong, which is good, since my grandson, age 10, sets them up for me. They clean up good with just a presure washer. I camp several weeks each year and this is the only cook stove I use, its so versatile with all the different cookware you can use on it. Buy one, you won't be disapointed."

By birdshotfrom Millinocket Maine
"The product is as pictured and well built. I looked at others before deciding and a lot of pictures were hard to tell was looking for. I had a single burner before and I ran into a problem on replacement parts. The picture helped me decide on the one I wanted. When I recieved the product it was excellent and perfect."
