excellent quality,

"This splitter was more robust than I expected. A real solid machine which will split anything that will fit on the 24" platform! Engine started on the first pull when received and has continued to do so. Hydraulic fluid level was a little low off the truck, so better lay in a few quarts when you order. As substantial as machines I've seen elsewhere for 0 more. The vertical arrangement really saves my back - I'm splitting large maple rounds 2' or more in diameter x 20" with no problem and no lifting. I'm very pleased with this unit."

"this machine is light easy to move and sturdy . the motor started on the first pull and the power of this splitter was more then enough to split logs up to 24'' in diam the only drawback i can honestly focus on is the 6" plate the log sits on but i overcame this little problem by building a 2x4 platform . to small of a problem for me not to love this mach , if your short on space to store a powerfull gas splitter this girl is lighter and smaller then any i found ."

Log splitter,
August 18, 2008
By Gregamee

"I have had one of these for years. I have been using it for personal fire wood for several years. It has never failed to start and I have yet been unable to load a log it could not cut. I always use it vertically and have split up numerous trees up to 3 foot in diameter. I may have to spin the log to split it. Cutting one side then the other. I often drag it through the woods with a 4 wheeler or lawn mower to a fallen tree that I have chosen to cut up. It easily sets up in rough terrain and it is very stable with minimal effort. I have several pieces of equipment that I use here ie tractor, mowers and chainsaws etc. And the logsplitter has proven to be the most reliable piece of equipment I own."

GREAT LITTLE SPLITTER,
August 11, 2008
By dabprod

"I bought this splitter in June of 08 after looking at ten or twelve other machines. Some of the features I liked about it was the ability to split wood in the vertical or horizontal position. Very important when splitting very large pieces, this will save your back from having to lift those heavy ones. It has a 24" stroke, 3000psi, 61/2 HP, and rated at 20 ton. Believe me, it has all the power I'll ever need. I cut and split five cords of oak in the first couple of weeks without a single problem. With the price of heating oil over a gal, this splitter has just about paid for itself allready. I am part owner of 1500 acres of woods and have access to all the firewood I can haul out. When I got this splitter home I read the owners manual, added the engine oil, checked the hydraulic fluid, filled it up with gas and put it to work. Starts on the first pull every time, and its made in the USA!!!!! This thing is going to save a lot of time and money, I'm going to love it and so will you. Dan"

Log Splitter,
April 14, 2008
By carleton

"This log splitter does a great job. I cut and split about 9 face cords a year and it has split oak, maple and ash. I wasn't sure if a 20 ton was big enough, but has handled everything without a problem and the vertical feature is great for those larger pieces. A great piece of equipment"

Love this splitter!!,
April 14, 2008

"I love this splitter...I looked at others and actually purchased a different one from another online company but when it never showed I cancelled it and bought this one. I ran about 6 or 7 cords through it this winter without any problem. Much of it was black birch, stringy as heck...no problem! Some of it was 30" diameter maple...again no problem!!! Be sure to put oil in the engine before you start it though because it doesn't ship with any in it. Also the hydraulic resevoir on mine was low and it needed to be filled up so the splitter functioned optimally. I love this thing!!!!! Thanks to IT I won't be splitting wood all summer long. Shawn"

Log Splitter,
January 21, 2008
By gaylon

"I purchased this log splitter in 2007 and have split several truck loads of wood for our home this Winter. Much of the wood was knarled and tough. The splitter starts on the first pull and has plenty of power to split the most difficult logs. I like the ease of moving the splitter. I can pull it with my lawn mower to the wood site. The horizontaI/vertical is a great feature. I have split several logs in the vertical position that would have been almost impossible to lift onto a horizontial only splitter. I would highly recommend this product because it is a great product for a low price."
