"Although I havent hooked up the gas yet I can see this stove was built to last. I like the stone type logs. I have a different brand and the logs are made of some kind of foam that breaks fairly easy. I have had other pro com stoves and have been very satisfied with all of them."

Warming up a 300 year old hacienda,
January 14, 2008
By AlanWB
from Mountains in SE Mexico
|
"My wife's family has a property in the mountains of Mexico with a hacienda building that (as near as we can tell) is about 300 years old, probably more. The large living room is always a bit cold and drafty which is probably why it is seldom used. We bought two 40'000 BTU units, thinking we would build two fireplaces with one in each end of a 75 ft long room, On a cold night we discovered that one unit is more than enough. We are saving the other for the dining hall. They worked great, initially taking off the chill quickly and then automatically lowering the flame to a minimum."

ProCom Vent-Free Gas Log Set,
January 14, 2008
By HDgirl
from Winston Salem, NC
|
"The gas logs were very reasonably priced, especially compared to those found in hardware or specialty stores. The logs heat our living room (approx 15/18ft) plus the surrounding rooms are warmer also. There are not many "embers" with this set and the floor of the fireplace looks a little bare. Overall, we are enjoying them and would purchase another set because of the price and quality"

Great Deal Needs Dims Advertised,
October 15, 2007
By davidv07

"I wasn't able to use this model even though pre-size calculations said 30 inch logs would fit. Had the dimensions been put in the description like other log sets I wouldn’t have ordered it. I knew it wouldn’t fit as soon as it was delivered because the minimum box size was right on the box. Put them in the description please."

"Great value for the money. Love the thermostat. Has a great flame color too. We bought this for the basement fireplace and it is a nicer unit than our (older) unit upstairs that was much more expensive."

"we installed these gas logs just before Christmas 2006. They are performing very well. They are attractive and functional. For the money I say they can't be beat. Compare to Logs costing twice as much."
