"This is a great stove! Lights everytime, keeps the house warm, its even got a remote. What more could you want? I like the feature of having a remote that you can program what temperature you'd like the room to be and it cycles on and off to keep the room that temp. If the electricity goes off, you can still light the stove manually. Nice feature if you get ice storms like here in Missouri."

"My husband surprised me by ordering this stove for our sunroom. What I like about it is the easy quick start with the remote control, cool touch outer shell, and it quickly heats the room with its very excellent heat and blower. I would have rated this unit higher except for the fact the temperature control on the remote was not functioning properly. I called the customer service dept and must say a very nice person assisted me. He emailed me the directions for resetting the control module and information regarding the thermostat. This information was not on the instructions sent with the unit. * Note: the thermostat was mounted on the back of the unit to a plastic clip. You have to take it out of the clip and place the tube and the wire inside the unit through the hole opening. Next, you have to reset the control module. The remote is infrared and not digital which is very sensitive and I still have to reset the control module from time to time. We didn't know this information when purchasing the unit - still a very good bargain for the money."

"The ProCom Vent-Free Natural Gas Heater is a good quality heater. It looks good for the low price I paid. The information provided by Northern Tool is accurate and true. As other revues stated the remote is a little bit too inaccurate. Although my wife loves a "hot !" room and sees no problem with the remote. Over all, a great add-on, money saving heater for under 350 dollars."

"I have used this for 2 winters. I have several other space heaters that are still in their boxes because I haven't needed them with this heater. The heat comes out of the vents above the door and the rest of the case stays cool. The cats sleep on top of it and once they got used to the sound of the electronic ignition they do not even wake up when it starts up. The only problem with the remote has been when something was in front of the heater. The sensor is located in the lower, center, front just below the door and if it is obstructed the remote does not work. The documentation is not user friendly and seems to have been written for another model but the unit has been trouble free."

"Delivery was great. The unit is supplimenting electric baseboards. I use it to heat the house and it does great. First winter month after the changeover my utilities were 160 dollars cheaper and we went from 69 degrees to 74 degrees. Did not have any odor issues."

"My Boyfriend has the same stove in his home which is a ranch style home and it heats up the hole house! He has cut his heating bill in half and has definately saved money. The remote control we have had no problems with it we set it for a certain temp. and it shuts off when it hits it and then regulates back on! Im not sure why anyone eles remote is not working maybe that is defected and you should send it back??? but ours works fine! We even shut it off because it really heats the whole house! I would recommend this to a friend in fact i will be purchasing the same one for my house for my linear room !!!! Jade"
