"I love my Big Buddy Heater! I used 4 "D" batteries in it until the AC Adapter arrived. The batteries do not work as well in cold weather and cost money to replace or recharge. If you have AC near your heater, the adapter gives you better blower speed with less trouble and expense."

"I placed an order for this when I purchased a Mr. Buddy Heater. It was on back order. I was worried that it would take a long time to get it. I gave the heater as a Christmas gift, and told him the adapter would be coming some time. It arrived a few days after Christmas (1/3/08) He is very excited to have it so that he doesn't need to use batteries all the time. I received a cooler last year and didn't get an adapter with the cooler, and have not been able to find one to fit it. It was exciting to be able to order the appropriate adapter with the heater."

"The only problem with this adapter is that it didn't come with the Big Buddy to begin with. While it isn't necessary for operation of the Big Buddy, it is nice to be able to run the fan on it without eating up batteries."
