Dependable,

"I am an insurance adjuster and I use the Northern Industrial Measure Wheel weekly. I use it to measure roofs, rooms in a house and the perimeter of buildings. The folding arm and handle make it easy to carry onto a roof. It is sturdy enough to withstand the daily bumps and bruises."

12 inch wheel measure,
November 17, 2008
By elradar

"Good value for the money. Solidly built, but light and compact. It folds up and fits into a canvas/nylon carry case which keeps it clean and protected when tossed in the rear seat or pick-up bed. It has a handy thumb re-set button to zero out the measurement, which beats having to bend over every time you need to zero out. I did not check the accuracy, as I don't need very high accuracy, but it's a lot better than estimating by eye. It seems to agree pretty well with measurements taken from Google Earth."

Great choice,
August 12, 2008
By Pat508

"I work as a police officer and we utilize this product at accident investigations, we have tried several similar products with poor result (breakage). This is very well made and the larger tire allows measurements to be taken off road. The case is very handy and allows the product to be stored and be easily accessible. I would recommend this product."

Hillside Survey,
March 10, 2007
By FlKeys321
from Florida Keys, Florida
|
"I purchased this product to perform a cursory survey on a piece of property in the mountains. I purchased it because of its portability, price and features. After considerable use on two multi acre, very steep lots I have the following pros and cons to offer to prospective buyers: Pro:
1.Very easy to learn how to use. 2.Very accurate and not prone to malfunction (checked against a traditional tape measure). 3.Very portable, the case even has shoulder straps which greatly facilitated carrying into the woods. 4.Well built considering the moderate price.
Con:
1. Not the best tool for very uneven terrain. 2. May not sustain a lot of jobsite abuse (untested durability).
Summary:
Performed better than expected and exactly as needed."
