"I've used this welder extensively over the last year in the restoration of a classic auto. Feed and heat controls are subtle enough for the sometimes delicate process of welding thin sheetmetal without blowing holes. I was really impressed by the quality appearance of the electronics inside this machine. It is a well crafted piece of equipment and even with the extras thrown in the package, it's not much more than half the price of a comparable Miller. The included auto darkening helmet, which I thought would be a throwaway item has served me well over the year that I have been using it. The cart as well has been perfectly sufficient for my needs. The instructional video is short but still helpful to a novice like myself. It's good to be able the hear the sound of a proper weld. This tape, combined with the written instructions, were sufficient enough to get me started. The included gauges and regulator made the transition from flux welding to gas coreless welding very easy. This is a very complete package and I highly recommend it"

"I had never welded before I purchased this welder. I am rebuilding a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle and wanted to do my own body work. I bought it because of the good reviews that I have read about it. This welder is very easy to set up and use. I have not used the gas conversion yet but plan to as my skill improves."

"I have only started welding after buying my Clark 180 Wire welder. I watched the tape and now starting to learn how to weld. I get better the more I weld. I see that most anyone could use this welder . With some practice. I would buy this welder again."

"Good for light home welding projects, but my son is in an industrial training program and feels this welder is not adequate for heavy-duty use."

"Very good welder, good for the jobs that I wanted it for small jobs. I am not a good welder away, but this welder is so easy to set up and use. And then the cart that came with it is real easy to put together and move. Very good unit to add to my small shop."
