Works Great!,

"I had been looking at an auto-darkening helmet for a couple of months and had planned on buying another one for about 0.00 when I saw this one. I bought one online and received it yesterday. I welded about 4 hours with it and can say that this is a great helmet-response time is extremely fast and being able to see where you are starting the bead is great! The sensitivity setting is a great feature and the head suspension/attachment system is very comfortable and stable. I would have to say that this is the best welding helmet I have seen to date, especially when you consider the low price."

Welding helmet,

"I have spent a bunch of hours using this helmet and I am very impressed with it. It has a faster switch time than most helmets in this price range and the shade adjustment works very well. The helmet is light weight and as stated by another reviewer the decals remove easily if you just want a basic black helmet. An excellent product for the price and a much better product than the 0 dollar hardware store auto-dark helmet I was using."

"I received mine last week. I took it to the welding shop and spent all fay TIG welding and it worked just fine. the guys in the shop like it too.
my face got a little hot with safety glasses on so when I got home I installed a computer fan on top of it to keep my face cool and now it ROCKS !!!.
I'm a happy camper."

"This helmet does everything it is supposed to do. Couldn't find anything to come close to it for the price. I am been pleased with it's performance. The only thing negative I have noticed is sometimes I have to retighten the pivot knobs so it doesn't fall down."

Good For The price,
August 11, 2008
By AKAdventures

"Can't complain too much for thr price, but would not recommend as an everyday all day helmet. Headband wouldnt hold up too long, and the actual helmet size runs a bit on the small size. Not enough room inside for air to circulate much, and the lens is a bit too close to the face. But for a weekend welder or a spare hood, great for the price"
