"I have used this trailer for over three years now and it has handled everything I have thrown at it. I have hauled everything from brush to logs to rocks to my wife and grandchild. The latch has never failed and it rides really smooth with the tandem axle. I wish they made one with a little larger weight capacity, I would buy it in a second."

"As far as carts go, this brand is at the upper end of cart quality. The cart is easy to use, handle well loaded or empty. Thanks to Northern and their pricing these cart are any excellent value verses quality. Easy to assemble, no special tools required, clear assembly instruction provided. I highly recommend these great carts."

The heavy duty tub combined with the rugged steel frame has made this product a work horse for me. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a long term working investment."

"I have always found the products from Northern Tools to be chosen for their quality and tradesman level of durability. I have to say that my Polar Sport Tandem Axle Trailer Model# 2071 does not meet the same level of expectation. After a few short months the deficiencies of the products designs became evident, and shortly there after the trailer became useless. The worse offense was the mechanism that locks to dump trailer to the frame during transport and loading, overtime, the mechanism’s ability to properly secure and maintain the dump trailer in the horizontal position deteriorates until it no longer works at all. As the mechanism began to fail, I was unable to observe any relevant wear and tear that had altered the mechanisms operation and alignment to the dump trailer and frame. That said, I was only able to conclude that the latching mechanism’s design was based on a very narrow standard of alignment that the products actual use would far exceed, thus rendering the trailer useless and unable to meet the claims stated for capacity. If your looking to do real work that requires solid performance from a dump trailer, this isn’t the one for you. Lightweight yard work, requiring the moving of plants and bags of soil, maybe, but anything in the upper limits of the trailers capacity, and it is sure fail. I do not recommend this trailer for professional use."
