Swisher Trailmower model# 13560,
July 9, 2007

"This machine is amazing. It has cut my mowing time to less than half of the previous events; this is considerable when mowing 14 acres twice a week or more. The cut is excellent and creates a true park-like environment. The manuverability is unparalled. I can get it into (and out) of some very tight spaces, and this make cutting around trees and bushes a breeze. I would enthusiastically recommend ths mower to anyone who has a sizable area to mow. It is also very easy to start and will tow behind anything. I have towed it with a golf cart and with a garden tractor (favorite) with five star success."

60" Finish mower,

"Very powerful mower. I mow a little over 5 acres. I use the mower pulled behind a Polaris Ranger and have had no problems at all. The cut is nice and even and leaves a beautiful lawn. It seems to be easy on the gas too. I have to fill up every other time to mow. Good product and it is "Made in America", something hard to find these days."

Rugged Mower,
May 6, 2008
By DonMc

"I mow approximately 6-7 acres on my farm that has hills, flat land, shallow ditches, trees, and large and small spaces. I have had my mower three years and pull my 60" Swisher with an ATV. At first I "babied" this thing, but after getting used to it, it gets more rough treatment now than it probably should. It cuts very well and the only items I have replaced are: a bearing, a long belt, and crank handles for adjusting the mowing height. I would recomend this mower to anyone with a large mowing area. The thing I don't understand is why you would ever have to purchase a new one. You can buy any part you want, even down to the "ruler decals"."

Good mower,

"This is my second Swisher mower I have had. The first one had the Briggs engine, the one I currently am using has a Honda engine. The Honda engine is much, much better than the Briggs. It has proven to be more reliable and quieter, with more power. The mower itself has held up well other than the spindle bearings wore out much too quickly. I mow about 8 acres with the Swisher pulled by a John Deere 320 lawn and garden tractor. The mower is starting to show some wear after 5 mowing seasons. Overall I am very happy with the mower and feel it is a great value for the money. I researched several brands before settling on the Swisher and, although some of the other brands seemed to be made a little heavier, the higher cost for these mowers did not seem worth it. My dad also has one that is 2 years old. It has held up well with his 2 acres of mowing. He pulls his with a John Deere 755 compact tractor. The mowers do well keeping pace with the John Deeres altough there are times that the Swishers engine pulls down when the the tractor's does not. This is most likely due to the fact the blade speed on the Swisher is much slower. I would recommend this mower to anyone who has some acres to mow."

Good value,

"We have owned this Mower for 4 years and the only repairs we have made have been the belts and replaced the battery. Of course we have changed out the blades once in the 4 years we've owned it! People are usually suprised at the cut this gives our lawn. We have close to 3 acres we use it to cut with and so far so good. I have even taken into some rough areas and it preformed great. Great for open spaces where you don't need to tight turn."

3 years so far,
October 30, 2007
By Fudge

"Bought mine 3 years ago and I am not sure what I would have done without it. Has worked great for me and I mow about 6 to 7 acres. The only issues I had so far was delivery required a truck with a lift which is extra cost. And my yard (field) is not real smooth so the gas tank bracket needed replaced. It was spot welded in 3 places, I wish is was welded better."

swisher 60" mower,
January 17, 2007

"This is an excellently engineered fast large area mower. This is the newer version of the one I own. I have used my mower for two years now and the results have been much better than i would have expected from a pull behind mower. I pull this mower with a revamped bolens 50 " mower for a combined width of 110 ". There is almost no scalping with the swisher, and that is more than I can say for the bolens. We are mowing aprox. 11 arces every week during the growing season. Last year we had to mow twenty one times. Blades were sharpened at the start of the season and then replaced at the end of the season with a new set. The original set are still in good condition and will be used again after sharpening... Great machine..."

handel bad,

"The lever to engage the mower is not of good quality. The structure of the lever is not meant for continued use and breaks off. I recommend a stronger flat material for this lever. Because of this problem I returned the product after only 3 days of use. This was a huge disappointment as I was really interested in using this product. I hope my comments help to improve the future models and I can then purchase one of the improved units."
