lockable livestock gate latch,

By bill5639from Western NY
"I have many gates on my farm that separate pastures and hay fields, creek crossings and access to highways. All of my gates have Northern Industrial lockable livestock gate latches. I have had years of good useage with these latches, they're easy to use stand up well to the weather and I have never lost any livestock as a result of latch failure. It's nice to have lockable access to the roadways and creek crossings, it keeps the animals where I want them."

great latch,

By stumanfrom Middleville,MI
"I recently installed this 2-way gate latch on my entrance gate to my bison pasture. I am very pleased with with the quality of components and ease of installation. This latch was heavier duty than the one I was looking for at my local farm supply and 1/2 the price! So far it has not failed to latch solidly in either direction and the padlock hole feature gives me peace of mind when I cannot be at the farm. I am purchasing more to replace the existing gate latches on my farm. Great solid product."

two way gate latch,
October 8, 2007
By rudy1from Hutchinson Minnesota
"We were having problems keeping our paddock gates shut with the latches they came with. we found a two way latch at the local farm store but the price was very high and we decided to buy only one, for the most used gate, and tie the others closed At home we copied the name of the latch and looked on Northern Tool and Equiptment's web site and sure enough they had the latches and the price was less than half of what we had paid. We took back the one latch and ordered 8 latches from Northeren for all our gates. Then even better, they were delivered a few days later. Thank you for keeping our horses safe."

"Strong, solid and two way makes this latch a must on cattle gates. Easily opens, yet closes with just a push on the gate. Easy to install and lock point to allow a padlock are also positive points."

Excellent Deal on a solid product,
March 7, 2007

"This is a heavy duty gate latch, well made and rock solid. I got this for a farm gate for a goat enclosure and it works great. You can operate it smoothly with one hand and if you line it up properly you can just swing the gate back after you open it and it should latch smoothly. For the price you cant beat this solid latch. You can even add a lock to this latch."
