Great Little Pump !,

"This pump is a great value.
Very light weight.
Easy to start. - Controls are well marked and easy to understand.
Very gasoline efficient !
Pumps a lot of water, over a long distance, with a good amount of pressure.
Very easy to prime and drain.
I suggest you get a Brass Foot Valve to go with the pump ( Item# 10823 ) , so you will not have to re-prime the pump if you turn it off and restart it more than once a day.
The only thing I could wish for, is that the adaptor the lets you connect a garden hose to the outlet on the pump, was made of metal instead of plastic. But, it's a .50 fix at any hardware store, so it's no big deal.

"Great pump that has stood up to serious abuse. Will pump any gump that comes it's way. Only complaint is the hose attachments are plastic and both broke when the temperature dropped."

"I recently purchased this pump to use in backcounty prospecting. It is very light weight which makes it easy to carry, in fact the suction hose and discharge hose are a bigger load. The Mitsubishi engine has never failed to start on the first or second pull and and uses very little gas and believe me that's important when you have packed it a few miles to where you hope to strike it rich. The pump provides all the water I need for running my prospecting equipment. I would recommend this pump to anyone needing a light weight reliable pump."

"This is a great little pump, hooks up to a garden hose, really puts out the water, light weight, you can carry it with one hand with coil of hose. So much eaiser to move around than my 2 in. and 3 in.really nice mits. engine."

"I could not be more happier with this little pump. At only 14 pounds it is easily carried anywhere. Starts everytime. Comes with all one needs to attach an ordinary garden hose for outflow. Must have rigid intake hose. If you use it intermittently during a session, I recommend a footvalve. I attached an gallon plastic milk carton to the footvalve to hold it off of the lake bottom.
Make sure there are no bubbles in outflow as it indicates a leak on the intake side. I found a loose bolt on the intake gasket. I still had leaks so I applied a very small amount of silicone grease to the intake hose and drain plug and that cured the problem. Do not use automotive grease or oil ,as it might deteriorate the gaskets."
