"I think that is a very practical use in all the outside jobs. I used it, installing the lighting outlets in my back yard, building an external terrace, where does not have electricity"

14.4 VOLT Drill,

"Drill is the perfect size, weight, for most applications you would want to perform, with a battery drill. Batteries seem to hold up well, and are easier than most to change out. I would call it very good value for the money."

Door Doctor's 14.4V Cordless Drill/Driver,
April 21, 2008
By RDB57

"Working on a Marine Corps Air Station, I carry two of these drills on my truck and use both of them extensively every day perfoming maintenance as well as repairing/replacing doors. Durability, torque, and ease of handling being paramount in this job; this drill has become one of the most valuable tools I use wherever my job takes me. Installing, repairing or replacing various types of wood and metal doors, door frames, door hydraulic units and other hardware, the chuckless quickchange jaws make switching bits or drivers a snap. The torque drives/removes even the toughest bolts and screws, so much so that it has snapped several of my DEWALT flat-tip and cross-tip screwdriver bits as well as screw and bolt heads. I've used these drills for over a year, dropped or knocked them from ladders, flatbeds and bucket loaders without a problem, due in part to the rubber bumpers built into the frame. The stowage areas on the side of the frame base enable me to carry two extra hex drivers or screwdriver bits. The no-memory, quick charge battery/charger allow me to use a battery to it's lowest level, put it in the battery charger and be ready to go again before my backup battery is used up, which helps when I have a really busy schedule or get called in on an emergency maintenance job. Normally, under heavy usage, I will get a full 6-8 hours of work per charge from each battery. I've worked with several other different brand name drills, but my DEWALT 14.4 Cordless drills have proven themselves time and time again. I thoroughly enjoy using the DEWALT 14.4 Cordless Drill/Driver.
I recently acquired two 18V DEWALT drills, one of which is also a Hammer Drill and am using them in addition to the 14.4V Drill/Driver for comparison. Thanks, DEWALT!"

This is the best cordless I've ever used,

"I use this Drill at work and at home, if you're a professional or just a home handyman this drill gets the job done. It has tons of power, and an electric brake. The first time you charge it up and hit the trigger you'll be impressed, but after driving screws and all around drilling through any material... You'll be in love."

"this is a really good unit. Lots of torque, will drive screws through any material. I love the electronic brake,it stops immediately when you let off the trigger. It holds a charge for a long time allowing you to do a lot of work before changing batteries. It charges quickly so between the two batteries you can keep working without interuption. I would highly recommend this unit for handyman or contractor."

Dewalt 14.4V drill,

"I have owned this drill for about 3 years now and I'm very pleased with it. I have used it for a wide variety of projects and it has worked flawlessly. All 3 speeds work great, but I have found the middle speed to be the best to drive deck screws."

Dewalt 14.4V Cordless Drill,
January 23, 2008
By homeuse

"I use this drill at home for my personal around the house use. It has been dropped off my roof, from latters, and off work benches and still is kicking strong. It has even been washed down (by mistake) with the garden hose. The only problem I have with it is that the batteries are not lasting very long at all. After years of use I can understand why. In the near future I plan on replacing them and continue using the drill tell it dies."
