MIG Welding DVD,
August 3, 2007

"I just purchased a Hobart "Handler" 125 and the MIG Welding DVD from Northern. Great machine. The DVD was invaluable. The step-by-step process is easy to follow, and it covers many topics from welding machine review and set-up, to wire selection, welding techniques, and much more. Many of the welding demos are filmed through the hood lense, so you're seeing what you would see when actually welding. Plus, the audio provides you with the different types of sounds one hears when making a good weld or a poor weld. The diagrams of proper nozzle orientation to the work piece, and good weld penetration help set a good foundation for the beginning welder. It will be very handy for future reference. I highly recommend this DVD for those learning to weld."

The GMAW (MIG) Welding 1 DVD,

"As the owner of a small farm, I needed to get myself a small MIG welder, to use in the fields and start keeping the old ARC welder in the shop. I had never used a MIG before, a friend told me about this DVD. A week later I was fixing my equipment in the field. This DVD is super simple to follow, and very easy to understand. I feel I am ready for the GMAW (MIG) Welding #2 DVD now."

MIG Welding,
October 15, 2007
By connejames

"I have a small ranch and metal tools, equipment, etc., are always needing welding repairs. Having a welder bring his equipment to my place is cost prohibitive. Taking equipment to a welder's shop is time consuming and normally results in the loss of it's use for several days. I decided to purchase a used Miller 200 MIG welder and experiment. MIG welding is not difficult to learn, but like most things, it is difficult to master. This DVD explains the equipment, the process, and the video shows what the welding should look and sound like as you perform the welds. I have been using the welder for a year and wish that I had seen the DVD before I began. My welding and its effectiveness has greatly improved."

Mig Wire Feed DVD Review,

"This was a super course to refresh my prior skills and also teach me a few new things as well. I lent this DVD to a friend and it really helped his skill level also. We now make a pretty good team fixing hundreds of feet of pipe fence horses love to try to knock down. I highly recommend this DVD to anyone who mig welds on an infrequent basis."

Kick start your weilding adventure,

"I bought a second hand mig welder and after reading a book about welding I made some welds. I bought this DVD about welding and when I saw what I shoud have been seeing through my helmet I immediatly made better welds. I've watched the video several times and I see (and learn) something new each time. I still plan to take a welding class at my local community college but because of this video I'm welding now. Great way to learn."
