Absolute Necessity for Beginning Welders,
March 7, 2007
By Okiefarm
from Noble, Ok
|
"Instructions were easy to understand, covered everthing I needed to know such as the different type welders, welding rods and setting for different types of welding projects. I had welded before but was not sure of what I was doing, this DVD helped me considerably and now my technique has improved and I understand the basics so I can move on to more difficult projects. Great instruction."

"This movie has really helped me, I keep watching it over and over, There's just way to much information to remember it all. I did not know how to arc weld at all. It was well worth the money."

Arc Welding 1 DVD,
April 20, 2008
By Dantheman76110

"Good DVD on the basics of arc welding. Good info on the designations of the welding rods and their applications. DVD showed laying horizontal beads. It could have included basic vertical on over-head bead laying. Good product for someone who doesn't have any knowledge of SMAW - Shielded Metal Arc Welding."

Great start to get started on welding,
January 22, 2008
By Paschal

"I just started welding with minimal instruction. This DVD was great to help me understand the basics of welding. It is NOT a safety course, so make sure you get that somewhere else, but the basic machanics of welding. This tells you what to watch as you weld and gives you information about the different welding rods available."

Not much content,
January 21, 2008
By Diercks1

"I was not real impressed with the amount of content in the video. It had some good visuals of what a good weld bead should look like but that was about it. It skipped some basics such as: material prep, joint fitup, etc."

Arc Welding For the Novice,
July 9, 2007
By KC2MWV

"I recently purchased an older gasoline Miller Welder. No experience with welding. After watching the video I was able to weld a set of handles and legs and attached a pair of wheels for the welder making it easier to move. I have watched the video several times and believe my welds have improved. I am no where near a professional but have confidence my welds will hold. They get "prettier" each time I practice."
