"Good, basic thermostat for my Mr. Heater. Easy install, and does what it's supposed to. A friend thinks it's over-priced for what you get ...but I don't know. It was convenient, and time saving to order the thermostat and vent kit with the heater. I'm pleased with the purchase."

Thermostat For Mr. Heater Garage Heaters,
January 18, 2008
By craterchains
from On a boat, on Puget Sound, Washington State
|
"This thermostat is the one recommended for the Mr. Heater Garage Heater. It has been functioning for over three months now with great success and accuracy. The thermostat has just the basic functions of heating control and is easily connected following the instructions supplied and comes with a card that allows either vertical or horizontal mounting. It was noted that the wiring letters (RYW etc.) on the thermostat control board do not match the letters exactly on the control board for the heater. With a little thought you will easily figure out which wire goes where. If you plan on using the heater fan for summer cooling, or just air circulation, you may want to purchase a more sophisticated heater control."

"I am very pleased with the operation and performance of the heating unit. I switched from a ventless model and there is no comparison whatsoever. The heater is relatively quiet and heats my 3 car plus garage effortlessly."

Thermostat review,
January 15, 2008
By RV9ABuilder

"Would not probably use this this thermostat if I had it to do over again. It woks fine as just a basic thermostat but I guess I'm getting used to seeing digital type t-stats and this one is pretty primitive. I will eventually replace it with some kind of digital programmable thermostat."

January 14, 2008
By NumberOneGrandpa
from Spokane, Washington

"I replaced a old thermostat that was not reliable for my new 75000 BTU's Mr. Heater Natural Gas Garage Heater. The thermostat maintains a very comfortable temperature in the shop and operates very well. It is easy to install and the instructions were very explicited. It maintains the selected temperature."

Thermostat,

By FrequentHappyBuyer

"I purchased 3 of these thermostats, Only 2 of them worked correctly. Very cheaply made, for the same money you can purchase a digital thermostat that is better made and has a digital temperture gauge that is much more accurate then the analog temperture gauge on this thermostat"
