Northern Tools Band Saw is Great,

"This thing is great. I haven't used it alot so I can't give it a full review. But I have used it several times with great success. It makes short work of 3.5" galvonized steel dock poles. It also does a great job of cutting old angle iron and 2" round stock. It cuts quickly and easily, and the cut is very predictable. The motor is strong and the unit feels very solid and together. This seems like a really good product and so far it is. My experience with it has been every bit as good as the similar Milwaukee unit."

Excellent Portable Bandsaw,

"I purchased this band saw to cut out the old drain pipes in our house to install new PVC ones. The pipes were 4" overhead cast iron. This band saw made quick work of removing the pipes and cutting them into manageable sizes. I had thought about purchasing a Milwaukee Porta-Band but decided to give this one a try. I'm glad I did. I saved myself over a hundred dollars."

Portable band saw,

"For the money it is a great little saw. I have used it to cut 2" square tubing and it does a great job. I usually use a Oxy/acet torch. This saw gives a clean straight cut that needs little and no grinding! I would probably want a heavier duty unit if I had to use it all day every day. For my occational use in my shop it is great."

"I needed this saw to cut 1/2 inch and 5/8 inch rebar and all I can say is it did the job quick and easy and was much more than I had expected at such a low price. I would definately recommend this saw. Great product & reasonable price. Thanks Northern Tools..."

Great tool for the money,

"I don't use a band saw all that often but this tool is just what I needed to have in my shop for those infrequent times I may need it to cut metal. I sure didn't need a more expensive tool setting around so this one suited my needs. I have cut 2" tubing, angle iron and bolts for some projects I have going on now that I'm retired and it sure beats using the hacksaw or the acetylene torch for clean accurate cutting."

and more. It is very veratull and works well. When I order this saw I did not
