5 lb Sausage Stuffer,

"Excellent Product. I'm from Louisana, state known for Boudin. My family gets together 2 times a year and have a Boudin making party. We used to use an old fashon sausage stuffer which took hours and hours to process. Now with this new product, we have time to finish up and have a BBQ. Works much faster than the old type stuffers that pumped mostly air into the casings. Thank you Northern Tool. Products like these aren't always available to the public. I'm glad I found your website, and store."

Great results!,

"I used the sausage stuffer to make soupie, Italain sausage. We stuffed 150lbs with no problems. The unit does require some oiling during the process. Olive oil works well but food service companies sell lubricants also. Although metal gears and a larger cylinder are better, this unit performed well and fit my budget."

5 lb. sausage stuffer,

"I and a few friends make Polish sausage (Kielbasa) for our families over the Christmas and Easter holidays. Prior to buying the 5lb. stuffer we did the stuffing using a mixer attachment which was slow and tiring. Especially slow when making 30 to 40 lbs. of sausage. The stuffer has made the task a breeze-- it is quick and easy, so much so that we cut the stuffing time by 2/3rds. A great machine for our purpose- efficient, easy to operate, and clean. All at a great price."

"It's just the right size for my needs. I'm a deer hunter and just getting into making venison sausage. I used it for the first time last week and it worked just great. It comes apart easily to make cleanup a piece of cake. For someone like me, making small patches of sausage at a time, I would highly recommend this stuffer."

good for Chorizo,
January 23, 2008
By ElRey

"This is verry helpful i like to make Mexican Chorizo, since is not easy to find good kind so i decided to make mi own. this tool worked good because it seals well and does not let the juices get out and it has good presure to pump it into the colagen cassing i use that is not as soft like the hogg cassings. I will recomend it to any type of sausage not just Chorizo And the plastic part seems to be a verry hard plastic so far i had it for over 6 mo and no problems"

"This is a great little unit for stuffing sausage and boudan I make about 100 lbs of sausage a year for home use also about 1000 lbs of boudan for home use and for sell. This little press has been very valuable to me on making my job much easier. Clean up is easy with hot water and soap. I just got through making 18 lbs of summer sauage and 20 lbs of smoke link sausage in the last 2 days. Best deal on the web at the price. I have used it for the last two years without any problem at all."

Great stuffer,
October 29, 2007
By BigDaddyJack

"Have been making sausage for several years, usually small quantities. Decided to do 40 lbs of venison and bought this stuffer. Since I don't make large quantities very often, but didn't want to wear out my arm with the push type, I decided to use a hand crank type and speed up the process. The push type worked OK, but I wish I had bought this years ago. So easy!!! Assembly instructions were accurate. Have made several hundred pounds without any problems. Great price (I also got it when it when on sale)! I checked several of the big sausage house wholesalers and this was a real bargain."

STUFFER,
October 8, 2007
By TEXASDIRK
from TEXAS/OKLAHOMA

"The sausage stuffer arrived damaged and would not work. The gears are cheap plastic and two of the splines on the top gear was completely broken off, therefore rendered the stuffer completely useless. This would actually be a good product if the gears were made from hardened steel instead of cheap plastic. After seeing how cheap the stuffer was made, I decided not to replace the stuffer with another one. I sent it back and luckily, Northern Tool sent me a full refund."

"works great, was a little worried about plastic gears, but they should be fine as long as you don't try and crank the piston out the bottom of the can."
